About Mariana Page

We are a Mexican-American couple (30's and 40's) who love to travel. We have 3 kids (22,17,7) and this is our primary home. We have collected a variety of objects over the years that we decided to leave them here for your enjoyment. We hope you have a great stay at our Jamaica Pond-side Condo.

Mariana Page purchased this condo in 2005

Why Mariana Page chose Jamaica Plain

This is our primary home. We use it as a rental during our extended trips. We really enjoy our home, the location, the quiet neighborhood, restaurants and the proximity to downtown Boston without the noise, we hope you love it too!

What makes this condo unique

While staying at our property, I love being able to walk to eclectic restaurants just a few steps away. My husband and I like to go out on date nights in downtown Boston and we can always catch the bus or walk to the T station to take the subway I love how quiet is at night. We used to walk around the pond

Guestbook comments from the owner

I may have to come to Boston again in the upcoming months and would love to stay again and so may be in contact. I loved your place so much that should I end up moving to Boston I would expect that I will likely look for a comparable place in the JP area.

Sshort walk to T and close to restaurants.

  • 5 of 5

This apartment was perfect for our stay! It was clean and the kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for our 5 day stay even though there were so many really good restaurants just a short walk away. Located on a Very quiet street. The washer and dryer in the basement was so useful.

We would definitely return!

Wonderful four day stay in Boston!

  • 5 of 5

Three of my oldest and dearest friends from England came to visit for a few days. We absolutely loved this beautiful, spacious, comfortable apartment and enjoyed our morning cups of tea out on the veranda. I drove from Connecticut and left my car on the street for our entire stay - a very safe area. Public transportation is convenient with the Orange T to downtown Boston just a few minutes walk from the apartment. Jamaica Plain is a great neighborhood. I can highly recommend Tres Gatos, a Spanish tapas restaurant at the end of the street. The food was delicious and you can choose your own music from the vast collection of vinyl records for sale in a small book/music store at the back of the restaurant. Centre Street Café provides a wonderful brunch at the weekends. Whole Foods and Stop and Shop are close by if you choose to eat in - the kitchen is very well equipped. Marianna was wonderful and answered questions promptly. Great place, great location - hope to return at some point in the future.

Nice clean home with all the necessities in the kitchen, and lovely covered front porch. Super to have laundry facility in basement since our family of 6 was there 3 weeks. Great location and near Jamaica Pond and school playground across street. Easy parking on street at house (free), did not use public transportation, but felt like a good Locatio. For us to tour Boston.

In Boston for our daughters BU orientation stayed here in Jamaican pond

  • 5 of 5

The apartment was great! It was a short walk to the orange T line which took us to down town in no time. Nearby Restaurants were excellent - especially the Indian (we went there twice in 4 days! The Thai and Vietnamese restaurants also deserve a mention).

We would definitely return!

Awesome stay while working in Boston!

  • 5 of 5

During our stay in Boston, 6 weeks, we absolutely loved staying here. This home provides you with both space and comfort. You could tell the owners really took pride in their home providing a welcome book for you to browse with any potential questions you may have and suggestions. The place was meticulous and provided us with all kitchen necessities. Our host was quick to answer any questions that we had. The location is close to public transit and easy to commute to the Longwood medical area. So whether you are just visiting for a quick weekend trip or a extended stay, I wouldn't look elsewhere. This place was great!

Spacious and Clean Getaway

  • 5 of 5

When our family of five typically goes to Boston, we squeeze into a suite hotel room, and spend the weekend in each other's space.

This time we stayed in this beautiful, clean home. The home is in a great neighborhood across from a school and we could tell it was very well maintained as we drove up to the property. We loved the space! We were able to cook many of our meals in their well stocked kitchen. It was nice to cook some of our meals, also making the weekend more affordable, and healthy;)

We had a lot of snow prior to arriving, and even while we were there. It was always shoveled out, so that we had easy access to the driveway and walkways.

I enjoyed walking around the village of Jamaica Plain, taking in the lively and flavorful scene.

We would definitely recommend this home to others looking to spend some time in the city!
