About Mariana Page

We are a Mexican-American couple (30's and 40's) who love to travel. We have 3 kids (21,15,6) and this is our primary home. We have collected a variety of objects over the years that we decided to leave them here for your enjoyment. We hope you have a great stay at our Jamaica Pond-side Condo.

Mariana Page purchased this condo in 2005

Why Mariana Page chose Boston

This is our primary home. We use it as a rental during our extended trips. We really enjoy our home, the location, the quiet neighborhood, restaurants and the proximity to downtown Boston without the noise, we hope you love it too!

What makes this condo unique

While staying at our property, I love being able to walk to eclectic restaurants just a few steps away. My husband and I like to go out on date nights in downtown Boston and we can always catch the bus or walk to the T station to take the subway I love how quiet is at night. We used to walk around the pond

Guestbook comments from the owner

I may have to come to Boston again in the upcoming months and would love to stay again and so may be in contact. I loved your place so much that should I end up moving to Boston I would expect that I will likely look for a comparable place in the JP area.

Great place to start your Boston Tour.

  • 4 of 5

The property is very accessible to public transportation and if you are renting a car, plenty of street parking, plus it has a private parking spot just in case there's none. Marina was very helpful in providing directions and instructions to get there, once we got to the location the house was clean and well maintained. She was very accommodating since we were a few hours earlier than anticipated, she allow us to drop our luggage and start exploring the city.

The house is very close to Jamaica pond and easy walking distance to a few really good restaurants around the block and maybe a five min walk to whole foods grocery store. Very convenient if you decide to cook something out or go out an enjoy a meal at a nice restaurant.

This place had the feeling that you were at home away from home.

I will definitely recommend this house to my friends and family.

Awesome Stay

  • 5 of 5

Overall our time in Boston was great, My parents, my cousin and I really enjoyed our stay. We came in Friday and left Sunday with nothing but good memories from our time inside and outside of the house. The house was really conveniently located and well stocked with everything that we needed. Thanks Mariana for the useful book in the house. We thought that was amazing. We could just refer to it for informations about the neighborhood, grocery stores, things to do around and so on. The house was big, we could each have our privacy if needed. Beds were comfortable , great furnitures. Mariana was just a phone call away, she was pretty good at returning my calls. Will recommend. If we are ever back on Boston, we will gladly stay here again. Thanks Mariana.

We had an awesome time in Boston! The weather was perfect and our accommodations were excellent. Thank you Maria! Your home was absolutely everything we could have imagined. We did so much in the four days we were there. Hope to come back soon. Safe travels to you and your family.

Family of Five Adults

  • 4 of 5

As we approached the house we noticed that it needed some work out front...It looked rather run down...the front yard could use some landscaping. It was the only house nearby that looked rather shabby .The deck off of the bedroom upstairs needs to be painted and furniture replaced. Other than these cometic improvements we found our stay here very comfortable. The inside was very nicely done. We enjoyed all of the artifacts from the owners travels. The nearby Whole Foods Market was a plus! The short walk to the bus to get downtown was very convenient and the bus trip itself went quickly! It took about 30 minutes and we were dropped off right in front of the Gorgeous Boston Library.

Owner's Response: Hi, thanks for your review. I agree the yard needs some TLC and we are in the process of replacing the entire porch, but we can't do that while we have tenants, so we have to wait until the fall season. Then the next project is to work on the front yard. I'm glad you liked the apartment and we hope to have you back soon.

Jamaica Plain is part of the City of Boston (4 miles or 15mins ride to downtown) with all of the downtown access while having a unique neighborhood flair. Once the summer destination for downtown Bostonians, JP has plenty of parks accompanied with great variety of local restaurants including Mexican, Japanese, Indian, contemporary American, local pubs/bars, and shops.

Not to be missed - JP is walking distance from Fenway, has the Samuel Adams Brewery, and has multiple transportation options to get to all of the major tourist destinations that Boston has to offer. Just 15mins ride either by car, subway or bus to downtown Boston!
