Don't hesitate to stay here! We had the best family vacation ever here! The home is clean, comfy and cozy with all the amenities of home! Our kids enjoyed the beach/sand area and swimming in the lake daily! They also had so much fun catching frogs which they had never done before! The fire pit was perfect for bone fires and smores under the most beautiful star lit sky I've ever seen! The hosts are good people that are so helpful. Since this was our first vacation in the UP, they gave us suggestions and stuff to do in the area/UP!
The beach was weedy, broken chairs by fire pit, pontoon dirty, canoe broken seats. Lake mucky and leaches. House itself clean and roomy. Bathroom smelled bad. Owners were friendly, but could put some money into the place to update and fix somethings
We had a group stay for ice fest. The house was clean, cozy and overall a great stay! We would definitely recommend!!
What a great stay. The place has a large open area and three bedrooms, all spotless! All the kitchen essentials are there too! Great little lake to take the pontoon out on, and there is also a small channel connecting it to a bigger lake! For the price and location, you really cannot beat the snow shoe inn!
SnoeShowInn is a great place right by the 16 Mile lake in Munising.
It is a nice cozy and clean place, with amenities like TV and Wifi too.
We arrived late in the night but Bill and Amy made sure the place was well lit along with a nice welcome note!
The view by the lake was awesome in the morning and we enjoyed the kayaks too.
The kitchen was well equipped too and it is a short 20 min drive to Downtown Munising.
This was our first time in Munising, and we fell in love - especially with the location of this rental! 16 Mile Lake is so peaceful and quiet, yet a short distance into town. We all loved the boats that came with the rental - we used them most days to enjoy the lake. SnowShoe Inn has everything you need for a great week - plenty of space (we had three children) and many included supplies (firewood for bonfires, sand toys, life jackets, grill...). Bill was extremely helpful in recommending things to do during our week that fit our family - and everything he recommended was a huge hit! We'd recommend a stay here!
