Peaceful stay, best accommodation in Antiparos!
We loved staying in Nikos's home on the top floor with balcony and also a roof terrace. It's very well equipped with everything you need to feel like you're at home, and although its pretty close to town the road is very quiet. The home is adorned with beautiful plants, cacti with lots of shaded areas to relax outside, including the amazing roof terrace. We only needed to use the air con (August) when we slept. Nikos and his wife are very kind hosts and they brought us fruit from their garden like figs and lemons, and Nikos gave us home made limoncello which was delicious. They live downstairs but the area upstairs is very private and it was great having them nearby to ask questions about anything. It's great for kids staying too and Nikos lent us balls and bats for the beach. We would definitely stay here again, Antiparos town is beautiful, quiet but with lots of character and nightlife. Thank you so much for your hospitality Nikos.
Thank you very much for your kind words. We hope that you are all well and hope to see you again soon.
Greatings from Antiparos,
An excellent accommodation with lovely host
The accommodation was fantastic, very charming and in a lovely quiet, peaceful setting, it had everything we needed. Nikos the owner of the property met us off the ferry and helped us with our luggage to the apartment and prepared a small plate of salad for us, he is a really lovely friendly man.
Antiparos village has a great selection of eating places some of them are very reasonably priced and again Nikos gave us some great recommendations for affordable and great food places to eat, and he was absolutely spot on, and there are plenty of other places to try with great food at good prices.
The people were very friendly and happy to help, exactly what you look for when staying in Greece.
All in all a great stay and I'd certainly recommend Antiparos and Nikos's house / apartments and we would have no hesitation in returning again and again.
Thank you Barrie, you are a guest i wish to have for longer time. Hope to be your host again!!
Lovely cosy and homely apartment in a great location close to the main street
We really enjoyed our stay in Nikos's apartment. It really felt like home away from home. We stayed in the bigger apartment with our 5 year old daughter and there was plenty of space for all of us. We loved the outdoor terraces of which there were 2 with this apartment. The location was great, 2 minutes from the main street with lovely shops and restaurants and only a few minutes longer walking distance to several nice beaches. Nikos was a super friendly host and it was a nice treat to have the apartment cleaned half way through our stay not something we have ever had in other places we have stayed.
Dear Tiina, thank you for your review and your nice words about our property.
We waiting for you your nice family and your friends any time you want to visit Antiparos and stay with us.
Great time in Antiparos
We were staying with friends in Ilsa's and Nikos apartment in Antiparos and it was one of the best places we could imagine for relaxing and enjoyable holidays. The hosts are super friendly and always happy to help with any issues.
Apartment is located in a very quiet place yet very close to a main street. You can enjoy a beautiful view of the sea from a top terrace while having a coffee or glass of wine. This is certainly a accommodation we would recommend for a unforgettable Greek holidays.
Hope to be again your host!
Wonderful and relaxing!
We had a great stay in Antiparos at the home of Nikos & Ilse. It was a 6 night stop, in the middle of a 2 week honeymoon, during which we also stayed in Istanbul, Athens, & Santorini. Considering those locations, we decided to add a destination that we could relax and enjoy quietly. We knew nothing of Antiparos, but is turned out to be exactly what we were hoping for. There were tavernas and shops on the main street to keep us occupied in the evenings, and the beach was a short walk away for our lazy afternoons. Although there was just the 2 of us, we rented the larger of the apartments available, which easily could sleep 6. It also had a private rooftop deck, with wonderful views of the town and port. The best thing about this property is Nikos, who is extremely generous and personable. He stopped by often with fresh fruit & vegetables from his garden, and samples of his olives, olive oil, capers, jam, Raki, & Lemoncello. He made us feel extremely welcome in his home, and we would gladly stay here again, as I'm sure most of his guests do. The stay on Antiparos was the highlight of our honeymoon adventure!!!
Thank you very much for your kind review John.
Excellent apartment, quiet location, generous host
Apartments are clean and well kept, decorated with a homely flair, mine with a sea view and large balcony. Mine had a double and a single bed, but he also has a large apartment suitable for larger families. If you like to eat in, the kitchenette is fully equipped. There is also a washing machine for guests' use (very handy). Location is about 100m from the main street and the port. Nikos is a very personable and generous host. He is a keen gardener, insisting I try his home-made preserves, olives, figs, dried tomatoes and excellent raki (locally called tsipouro) on arrival. If you need anything, he has a shop on the main street and can usually be found there. Antiparos is small, everyone knows everyone, and it has a pleasantly inclusive sense of community. A great many visitors go year after year, myself included. I considered I was lucky to get such good accommodation at short notice in June - I will be booking further ahead next year.
Thank you very much for the kind words John.
We are looking forward to welcome you at our house again next year.
The apartments are located on the first floor of our house, which is located 70 meters from the harbor in a quiet side street of the 1000 inhabitants large village.
Getting there: Antiparos can be reached several times a day by boat from Piraeus (2,5 hours high speed, 5 hours normal ferry). By plane you either fly via Athens with transfers to Paros or directly from Germany to Mykonos and from there by boat to Paros (1.5 hours). From Paros to Antiparos there is a direct boat connection from port to port (20 minutes) from May to September. The car ferry runs all year (5 minutes) from Punta to Antiparos harbor.
