                                                          More information about the holiday lounge at: www. holiday lounge-mallorca. de The Cala s'Almunia is located just south of the named after her settlement S'Almunia or S'Almonia, which is located about 30 meters above the sea level of the bay. It is bordered by the Cape es Faralló (southwest) and Castellet de Ponent (northeast). To the southwest, there is an ANEI Nature Reserve (Àrea natural d'especial interes), which extends to the Cap de ses Salines. The main town of Santanyí is located 4.2 kilometers north of Cala s'Almunia, the next major town Es Llombards 3.5 kilometers northwest. On the northwest side of Cala s'Almunia is the small, about 10 meters long and 30 meters wide beach Es Maquer. It is framed by low rocks and interspersed with other rocks. The size of the sandy area varies. From the "holiday lounge" leads directly a staircase to the small beach of Cala S'Almunia. On the shore it can come to seagrass deposits. At the back of the beach runs the torrent Torrent de s'Almunia. The stream, fed by rainwater, very rarely carries water. Pines and shrubs grow on it. On the east side of the bay is the "Holiday Lounge S'Almunia" and other buildings, houses, fishing and boat sheds (Catalan escars). By a rock cap projecting to the west in the south they are well protected from strong sea. From the buildings, a path leads northeast to the Caló des Moro, which is on a 40,000 m² private property, but is freely accessible. On the west side of the Caló des Moro is a 30 meters long and 20 meters wide sandy beach. It is framed by the cliffs and interspersed with larger rocks. The size of the sandy area varies, in strong swell it is washed over. On the shore it can come to seagrass deposits. On the steep bank and behind the beach grow pines and shrubbery.
