The owner was great to work with! He was responsive to my questions and everything was exactly as he had stated. This condo was the best equipped that we have ever rented. The kitchen had all the comforts of home and then some! We did not need to pack anything extra for this trip beyond our change of clothes and swimsuits. Our family really appreciated the quietness of Tanglewood; it was so helpful to have the youngest get a great night's sleep for all the day activities.
Our experience was wonderful. Would book again.! The only issue was steep hill to beach and taking wheelchairs up and down.
The condo is immaculate and well stocked with all the things a young family needs while on vacation at the beach. The ground level location opens onto a patio and large lawn perfect for kids to let loose. A short walk to the beach.
Property was well taken care of. Very clean. Owner contacted us by e-mail on a steady basis and asked if we needed anything. With in walking distance of beach and min-golf and 2 eating establishments. Allowed to use other resorts indoor pool very close by for a small fee
What a wonderful find! Our family recently spent some time in this great spot. It is well set up for a family and has all the amenities of home. A short walk to the beach and so close to the town for groceries, the sites etc.. Would highly recommend it.
The Parksville/Qualicum area of Oceanside is a prime vacation destination known for its mild climate, many sandy beaches, warm ocean waters, great year-round golfing, excellent birding, and countless other recreational opportunities (including sailing, kayaking, fishing, and hiking). Six of Vancouver Island's 40 outstanding golf courses are within a 20-minute drive away. This ideal location also provides central access to many popular Vancouver Island attractions, including the verdant and bountiful Cowichan Valley (known as “Canada’s Provence”, featuring 10 wineries and several artisan bakeries, butchers and the like) and “olde English” Victoria to the south, Cathedral Grove and the “wild west coast” (the West Coast Trail, Pacific Rim National Park, Tofino, Clayoquot Sound) of Vancouver Island to the west, and the more diverse Comox Valley to the north.
