Why Daniel and Molly Nabedrick-Molitor chose Magnesia Falls Cove
We wanted a warm vacation destination getaway. The Palm Springs valley has great weather, and a beautiful backdrop with the surrounding mountains all around us. Rancho Mirage is a beautiful manicured vacation destination, yet the valley has kept most of it's natural desert beauty, and the closeness to the 111 Highway give us easy access to anyone in the Palm Springs valley within minutes. What makes this House unique
What is really amazing about our home is the amazing backyard and private gated garden yard surrounding the entire 1/2 acre compound from front to back yard and wall to wall around all four sides of the property with a large white cylinder block wall. It also for incredible safety, security, privacy, front and back yard play areas and visiting areas for young children and adults as well. There is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the entire outside of the house in both front and back yard. The front rotunda circular driveway and additional front driveway allows easy secured guest parking for as many as 6 cars. And what about the back yard, well the back yard is truly and amazing place of beauty, tranquility, luxury vacationing for guests of all ages. There is a daylight circulating waterfall feature that descends from the elevated jacuzzi into the swimming pool. We also have a pool safety gate easily installed or taken down that is available for use when young children are along for vacation. The backyard also features a separately elevated garden cement floor sitting area with couch and chair and fire pit. It is actually my favorite sitting room in the entire property and is great in the sun, the shade or at night around a cozy fire too. Additionally we have a large covered patio dining room that sits 10, a nice covered patio grilling station with wet bar and wine beer chilling fridge out doors.Top it off we have eight pool lounge chairs available for use when a big group wants to layout pool side. And last there is another great separate master bedroom cozy patio space with double french walkout doors. A great place for King and queen to wake up relax and enjoy coffee and newspaper or a book in the morning. So there it is, now you know why we like our Rancho Sahara property, great beds/baths and.........much much more to offer outside the home.

Amazing Home with Even Better Host!
I recently stayed with a large group of couples and adult friends and we had the best vacation at this house! The extremely private property was such a lovely place to spend time, it felt like we had our own mini resort. We especially enjoyed lounging around the backyard which provided ample lounge chair seating, a spacious pool, hot tub, and grill. The landscaping is beautiful and the view of the mountains in the background is the cherry on top. The rooms are comfortable and spread out well so that nobody ever felt crowded. We cooked several meals in the home and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed.
As good as the house was, I must say Daniel is the best host we have ever worked with which made the experience even better! He is very kind and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Anytime we had to communicate he was responsive and made things easy. Thank you so much for providing us an amazing vacation Daniel!! We appreciate it :)
Overall I would highly recommend this home for large groups who want to enjoy a peaceful, comfortable, and beautiful vacation home and property in the desert.
Very quiet, nice area.
Enjoyed our stay. Very spacious house with four bedrooms which is good for a golf group. The house in general is a little dated, but it looks like the owners are starting to update it. Had everything we need, a nice jacuzzi, good TV, and convenient location.
Nice experience. Would stay again
Best parts: really nice, peaceful, and functional backyard. We spent a lot of time just enjoying ourselves there. Plenty of room in the house and nice for each bedroom to have its own bathroom. We were pleased with how quiet it was given that the property is close to Highway 111. Noise wasn't an issue.
There were a few minor areas of the house in need of attention, but nothing to significantly impact our stay. And responsiveness by Daniel was excellent from text and email.
Note that we've stayed before in the Magnesia Falls Cove area in Rancho Mirage and find that it's a really nice place to stay in the greater Palm Springs area. It's a nice neighborhood that's quiet but close to a lot of things. Also, when compared with Palm Springs proper, the sunlight in the afternoon lasts significantly longer since you don't lose it over the mountains that are on the Western border of Palm Springs.
Overall, we would definitely consider staying at this property again next time we come to the Palm Springs area
Super Comfortable Beds and Great Outdoors Space But a few issues
Our group unfortunately hit the valley during its worst weather run in February history. We did not get to fully enjoy what is an exceptional outdoors space. We were concerned that the proximity to the 111 would create a noise problem, It was no issue. Although we paid for pool heat the temperature outside made the pool unusable for us. The beds were all quite comfortable. The foundation on the bed in the middle bedroom seemed to have a problem causing a dip in the middle. Others have commented on the issues with getting water temperature right in the master shower. We also had some issues with that. And to get hot water to the kitchen sink the water has to run for a long time. Took a while for us to figure that out. The gate remote openers didn't work very well and we just used the gate keypad for our visit. Kind of a hassle. The inside of the house does not have a comfortable gathering/lounging/socializing area for a large group. The couch works for 4 or maybe 5. An ottoman in the kitchen nook is actually trash and unusable. Less than ideal weather forced us inside most of the time and this was a real weakness in the house. The fireplace was something we couldn't figure out how to light and the instructions don't really help tell you where to insert the lighter to get it to work. Not a huge deal but another weakness. No bar stools and two dining tables is also kind of weird. The kitchen is OK. We have traditionally cooked our meals in the rental units in Palm desert over the past decade of our group visiting. This kitchen just does not work well for multiple cooks and gathering. Also the coffee maker is a kuerig or a 2 cup drip like from a hotel, we would have appreciated a simple full size drip coffee maker. It is a big house with lots of space though some is wasted. But of we had been able to use the outdoors more in the mornings and evenings I am sure we would have enjoyed it more. With the bad remotes, the weird hot water, the lack of indoor lounging space and the ho hum kitchen it was sort of a 3.5 stars experience for us. Beds were great though.
Secluded yet convenient - awesome yard!
I can't say enough about what a joy it was to stay in the "Tennis House". The location is convenient to Starbucks and good take out and shopping; yet the compound is totally quiet and serene and absolutely self contained, so little ones can safely run around at will experiencing a great sense of freedom and adventure! The owners are very responsive and so thoughtful about the happiness and safety of their guests. We had 4 grandaughters, two of whom couldn't swim, so they were quick to put up a terrific safety fence around the pool and heat the water to toddler friendly temperatures. We felt very cared for by our responsive hosts! We had a family if 10 and the bedrooms totally accommodated us. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you need to cook big family meals as well as a terrific outdoor barbecue. The landscaping is smart and beautiful! ( including lemons- pomegranates-oranges-grapefruit)The amazing thing about the property is the flow! Our little group went from all being gathered around the outdoors family dining table to moving as the dark came up to the next level of patio with charming campfire pit where we all made s'mores and told scary stories.
The kids played for hours during the day in the sandbox area when they weren't romping in the pool while the grown ups relaxed in the hot tub who's waters cascaded down into the pool. We just had the absolute best time ever as a family and it was topped off by watching the full moon rise magically over the distant mountains!
Very special place!!!
