I am a 6th generation Parisian, born and raised in Paris. I love large cities where I can stroll, smell, feel, breathe and live the life the residents live. I am a good cook and enjoy good food.
Owner purchased this Condo in 2007
Why Owner chose 15th Arrondissement
Whether you walk, bike or use the various modes of public transportation in front of your door, you are in the heart of this magical and romantic city. After 30 years of extensive travel all over the world, I know what is like “to live out of suitcase” in standardized and impersonal hotel rooms. Here you will immediately feel at home. You will find your baker, your butcher, your greengrocer, your wine and liquor store right outside. There is no need to rush after a hard day’s work or a long day of sightseeing or shopping.
What makes this Condo unique
For your stay in Paris my beautifully renovated apartment is perfect and has everything you need : a very comfortable bed and furnishings, modern bath, a great kitchen, free wireless and hi-speed access to the Internet. It is conveniently located to shopping, the metro and direct train to Versailles, with proximity (3 minute walk to the tower) and great views to Eiffel Tower, which is the highlight of the apartment.

38 Suffren - Paris
This is a small studio-type apartment only a block from the Eiffel Tower. Owner is helpful and works with you to the extent possible. It is literally only a block or two from the Eiffel Tower and you can watch the lights sparkle from the window with a glass of champagne. A/C is very helpful and important if you go in summer and it was a very nice respite from the summer heat. All amenities are available. Restaurants, grocery store, butcher, bakery, and fromagerie are all within one block (or less in some cases). Good for couples but no more than two people. A small child could be OK but will be a bit cramped if you have a lot of "child equipment."
Great place for a get away. Easy walk to many sites and there are always cabs, busses, muni, and Uber.
We had a very nice 5 day stay.
A Week in Paris
A lovely studio apartment in a great and secure neighborhood with plenty of good restaurants and cafés. Plenty of grocers, cheese shops and bakeries/pastry shops on the same street or in short walking distance. It was just as advertised. Easy walk to La Tour Eiffel, and the Seine as well as the Metro to visit other sites, and le Bus Direct or train or taxi for airport access. An elevator and air conditioning were a plus! The owner was very pleasant and accommodating with suggestions for shops and restaurants. If you want to experience local life in Paris this is it! We will be back!
All I can say is WOW!!
I can not recommend this property enough. There was not one part of our stay that did not exceed our expectations. Didier has the most amazing apartment which has been kept to the highest standard with a very comfortable layout and excellent facilities. When you often book properties due to the pictures and you are worried about whether or not the pictures match the real thing - please don’t worry about that with this property as the pictures do not doit full justice as what you get is even better than what you see in the pictures. You will not get a better view of the Eiffel Tower and the location is exceptional to ensure you can easily get to everyone of the amazing attractions in Paris. Thank you so much Didier for allowing us to have the opportunity to enjoy our holiday in your exceptional property and next time we are in Paris we will definitely be staying here again. Your hospitality and ease of booking and your recommendations for restaurants etc helped us enjoy our stay even more, Merci.
Wonderful view of Eiffel Tower, cozy/clean apartment with excellent host, convenient to everything!
Outstanding location, especially for first-timers in Paris who may be unfamiliar with the area. The apartment is located in an excellent spot for transportation, with attractions and all the necessities (market, bakery, pastries, cafes)easily accessible.
The apartment is as advertised--the pictures are an accurate representation of the views! While small and cozy, the apartment is appointed with every necessity and the host, Didier, is accommodating and helpful. Take advantage of the opportunity to have your morning coffee with a view of the tower, and finish the night with a glass of wine while the light show dazzles!
Rue Cler is within walking distance, as is Invalides and Jardins du Trocadero. While visiting Rue Cler I would suggest Cafe Central for lunch. A quick turn around the corner on de la Motte-Piquet and you will find Les Parisiennes, a great spot for coffee or wine while watching the world walk by or reading a book. Unless you are accustomed to longer walks, you might want to hitch a ride to visit the Louvre, Musee de Orsay, or Montmarte. If you choose to walk, a stroll across Place Joffre at the end of Champ du Mars at night is picturesque. And sitting outside at Le Castel on Avenue Suffren is always enjoyable--watch the reactions as people cross the street and see the Eiffel Tower for the first time.
This apartment is in a prime location, appointed well, clean, and convenient to everything. Didier could not have been a better or more helpful host. We highly recommend this location to anyone who wishes to feel like a Parisian and immerse yourself in the City for a time. We will definitely return!
Perfect Paris Location
A very clean, neat, compact, modern-styled apartment in the 7th arrondissement. Minutes from bus stops & metro. Next door to a delightful patisserie, a grocery and restaurants. The view from one window is the Eiffel tower, from the other two it's the golden dome of the Army Museum and the city streets. Very good wi-fi. The owner was very helpful, easy to communicate with and responsive to questions. Note that there are several steps up to the elevator and from the elevator to the apartment.
Didier was a great host. Very timely and explained everything. Gives good suggestions as well. Apartment was very clean, in good condition and extremely centrally located. Enjoyed our stay very much.
From my front door, only 30 steps, the bus # 69 starts ! (check out Rick Steves, Paris book, for details). This bus takes you along rue St Dominique, up rue du Bac and across the Seine to rue de Rivoli, past the Hotel de Ville to Place de la Bastille in le Marais, and finally up to the famous Père Lachaise cemetery (Edith PIAF - Marcel PROUST- Frederic CHOPIN - Marcel MARCEAU - Amadeo MODIGLIANI - Jim MORRISSON ....) . It will get you to all the major Paris attractions Notre-Dame, Sainte-Chapelle, the Orsay and Pompidou museums, Les Invalides, where Napoleon lies. The metro and RER C (TRAIN straight to Versailles) stops are only 3 blocks away.
