As a "time-guised" cottage, this former coaching inn, built in 1890, is to be described. Modernized in 2015, attention has been paid to maintaining traditional doors, staircases and stone walls with great attention to detail. The original floor on the first floor tells the almost 130 year old history of the Railway Cottage. Even the modern keeps the good old times promise: All rooms are zeitgeistig equipped with a sense of antiques, international art and design at the cutting edge.
Please note that the cottage is not suitable for children under 12 years old.
Here you will find a small "goody bag" with some local touches to make you familiar with the area and to make your stay as pleasant as possible.
Idyllically nestled against a small forest at the foot of Curra Mountain, Glenbeigh Railway Cottage offers breathtaking views of Coolroe Mountain and the Behy River Valley.
The country-style kitchen offers all modern amenities, such as an AGA gas electric oven, dishwasher, fridge and freezer, microwave, electric kettle, toaster and coffee maker.
The cozy living room is equipped with a 4K Smart TV, an X-Box OneS, Bluetooth Hifi and a selection of CDs, DVDs and games. A small studiolo on the first floor offers a computer-suitable desk with direct views of the valley.
Throughout the house Wi-Fi is available with fast Internet.
The luxurious marble bathroom on the first floor has an easily accessible, large shower and the ground floor has a guest toilet with washer and dryer.
The entire house has a gas central heating. Cottage Style wood fire stoves are located both in the living room and in the kitchen
