Beautiful and spacious apartment
We just returned from a weeks stay in this beautiful apartment. It’s in a lovely location with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The pool is fabulous, although was very cold while we were there and the cooler than average temperatures didn’t help! Our boys had a good go in it though as they were braver than us!
The apartment itself is really spacious with plenty of room for us to spread out. The kitchen is really well equipt and there is a lovely little balcony which I am sure would be great to sit out in during the summer.
The beds are comfortable and the shower is powerful with loads of hot water. It’s quite a small shower cubicle though so took some clever manoeuvring. Having a washing machine was very handy and it was easy to use.
One tiny thing to be aware of is that the WiFi wasn’t particularly reliable, especially inside, although worked really well around the pool.
The owner is very friendly and helpful and, even with her speaking Italian and us English, we managed to get by having a conversation - thanks to google translate!
We would recommend this as a great place to stay for families and located about 1.5hr drive from Naples and the outskirts of Rome, so a good base to explore both cities. There are lots of good local restaurants within a 20 minute drive too. A car is definitely needed to stay here.
Lovely property and beautiful location
We had a lovely week at the property. It was perfect for us and our children (8 and 4), who particularly loved the pool. A very warm welcome from Pina who was most helpful - even though neither of us spoke the other's language. The kitchen area is small and basic but fine if you're not cooking at home much. Stunning setting, and very remote which we loved but may not be for everyone. That said, it's only a short drive to get to a shopping centre and also to the beach. Recommend making the 45 minute drive to the caves at Pastena and also the short trip to the Roman Archeological museum at Minturno. Gaeta is also worth a visit, but very busy in summer.
