Great place to spend 34 nights!

Great location for biking or walking the entire city of Portland. River view was nice for viewing Rose Festival Fleet. If not for the homeless issue in that part of town this would be 5 star ranking.

April on the Willamette in the Pearl.

  • 5 of 5

My wife and I enjoyed April in our condo in every way. The weather was beautiful. We walked to resturants, Powells, Saturday Market, Paul McCartney at the Moda, and took an Amtrak day trip to Seattle. The condo was perfect, every thing we needed, good parking, comfortable and well appointed. Absolutely no complaints! Great way to see and experience downtown Portland! Owner was accomodating with our request to extend our stay.

Oasis in the City

  • 5 of 5

My second stay at the condo was just as perfect as the first. This place is going to be my first choice on every visit to Portland. James makes the process so easy and efficient. He takes great care of the place. It's clean. Everything you need is provided. The bed is very comfortable. The location is tops -- right on the river. Sit on the patio and watch the freighters unload their cargo and speed boats zip by. A very brief walk to The Pearl and downtown. I didn't even need a car though a parking space is provided. Some reviews mentioned the sound of the freight train across the river as objectionable. I am an insomniac and I actually found it gentle and soothing. And more importantly, not once, even on warm August nights, did I hear 'people' noises. I slept really well. Enjoy your stay in perfect comfort at this condo.

Nice condo in great location.

  • 5 of 5

First of all, the owner, James, responded quickly to the booking request. Much appreciated. The condo is in probably the best part of Portland, with lots to see and do. Many grocery stores, restaurants, and museums within walking distance.

The condo is clean, well kept, quiet, and comfortable. This is my go-to stop for visits to Portland. As to the trains nearby, we were out most of the day, but noise was not an issue. Train noise was no problem in the evening, never heard it.

Thank you James.

Great apartment, good location, noisy!

  • 3 of 5

Our 3-star rating reflects:

- 4-5 stars for the quality/location of the condo

- 1 star for noise

Stayed at this condo for 3 months. The condo is large, well-equipped, comfortable and looks exactly like the pictures posted. The view of the waterfront is beautiful.

The owner was accommodating and flexible. The location is good. The greenway in front of the building connects to the waterfront promenade and is an easy 20-minute walk to downtown. With regard to the Pearl District, it’s also convenient, although railroad tracks make it necessary to either cross a footbridge or make a wide detour to get there.

The only negative was noise. Unfortunately, this was a big negative for us; it may not be for everyone.

The condo is located about 75 yards from a train crossing, with passenger and freight trains entering and leaving Portland Union Station around the clock; and at the crossing they blast their whistles at all hours. Also, the screech of train wheels is audible both on the nearby Steel Bridge and across the river. The complex itself is relatively quiet; however, the construction of the building in which the unit is located makes it possible to hear the neighbor directly upstairs stomping around her apartment from the time she gets up at 5:30 until she leaves for work (between 7-8) and then again when she comes home at 5 and throughout the evening. The woman herself is not noisy, but she has a heavy tread and the carpeting in her apartment has been replaced with laminate flooring.

The property was as described and pictured. It was, clean, centrally located with miles of walking paths along the river, centrally located , downtown, shopping, restaurants, dinner, drinks, train station and public transportation. Spent a week at Thanksgiving visiting my daughter. The condo is close to the trains, Maxx and bridges so there is some noise.

Would very much recommend the condo! Thank you James, again great place!
