My Husband, son and his wife and daughter and her husband all stayed in this lovely cabin in October. We had rain while we were there but quite enjoyed the weather .It was nice and cozy and warm inside.. Cabin slept all of us comfortably and was well equipped. Nice river front view. Owners are very nice. Thank you!

Our family loved the location on the river and the wonderful accommodations! It is close to Terrace Lake pool, close to town for eating out and family members were able to float the river right from the property. It has a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and a wonderful deck for sitting and relaxing. We had an amazing time and hope to return next summer. Thank you Bridget and Steve!

Such a retreat!

  • 5 of 5

We five sisters needed a get-away, where we could play & rest & drink in God's creation. And that we did. It was very private. The scenery exceptional, especially when the osprey & deer were active. The cabin is lovely., well-stocked, & very clean. The hosts are very gracious. And the garage for line-dancing was a bonus! Thank you Bridgett & Steve!!!

Awesome Time

  • 5 of 5

My family had an amazing time. Everything was perfect, just as it was described. My kids were happy that we had deer come through. (They said it would be required since it was in your pictures, good thing mother nature worked for us.) We had a fun time putting puzzles together, playing video games, swinging, playing in the creek, building fires, and watching movies. It was difficult to leave and come back to normal life again. Wish we could have stayed longer, maybe next time.

A+++ Hospitality

  • 5 of 5

This house house wonderful touches and the owners go out of their way to make renters feel comfortable! They provide everything needed and even things you didn't know you needed. We rented the house along with some friends and we all had a wonderful time and were blown away at the excellent hospitality of the owners! We have rented from others in the area and have never felt as comfortable as we did in this rental. We want to go back again and we would recommend them to everyone!!

Thanks for the wonderful weekend

  • 5 of 5

We came to celebrate my husband's 50th birthday and were not disappointed. The cabin is sparkling clean and cute as a button. The bathrooms and kitchen are well supplied with all the necessities and then some. Bridget is very accomodating and so very easy to work with. The welcome bottle of wine was an especially nice touch - thank you! I hadn't appreciated it fully from the pictures, but the view from the master bedroom bay window is spectacular. Lying in bed at night with the moonlight illuminating the snow-covered valley below is truly magical.

My only slight disappointment was that the cabin, while it may sit on 10 acres, has a second house very close by so it was not quite as secluded as I had initially thought. However, the area is very quiet; there was very little traffic or road noise so it turned out to be a non-issue.

The house is only 3 miles from Crouch, and restaurants and a grocery store are close by. We are snowshoers and found lots of national forest land nearby.

Our golden lab had a wonderful visit - we actually had a hard time coaxing her into the vehicle when it was time to go home. We had a great time and hope to come back again!
