Set in 19th Century Haussman building ideally situated in the heart of Avenue de Suffren close to Museums, historical landmarks and renowned Swiss Village with more than 150 antique shops and Art galleries.

INTRODUCE ACTIVITIES AND SIGHT SEEING in your daily life with a bike, a car, a horse, by foot or a boat. A Velib station is available at your door. An Autolib is available 1 block away. Velib is a self service “bike for hire” An Autolib is a self service "car for hire" and both are available 24 hours a day 7/7. We were born in France and are in our late 50's leaving in USA for the last 20 years and go to stay in Paris to see our family and friends once a year. We decorated our apartment to its best and cherish it like a baby. We are in the Hollywood film industry and love traveling. We are also very detailed oriented and pay attention to art and design wherever we stay and also we love good food but I cannot hide that we are kind of picky on food, I guess, this is maybe due to our French cooking education. ha ha...

You cannot beat the location - It is so central and the best high end lively area and also one of the safest. Anyone can tell you their place is close to Eiffel tower simply because the tower is a very tall monument and can be seen from very far away but the difference is that our apartment is TRULY located right across the Eiffel Tower and the great Champs de Mars Park... No surprise... + one can find all kind of gourmet food at the door step. Paris public transportation and direct liaison to Versailles are within minutes walking distance.

What makes this apartment unique

Very quiet which is rare in Paris. It's comfortable, luxurious and full of charm as well. Unique location , the Eiffel Tower, Historical building located on one of the most prestigious street of Paris. Groceries, delicious fresh Baguettes and Croissants , French Wines and farmers Cheeses as well as great restaurants which all are located next to our building and moreover, conveniently so close to buses and subway . Not many Paris residential places offer so much in one location. Our guests are treated like family and all told us as well as in their reviews that they loved staying there and many of them are returning customers.

From the moment we rented, we were in good hands. The owner made sure that we had all the information we need to get to the apartment and the onsite support was wonderful. When we arrived, we found the apartment in immaculate condition and the neighborhood was just right for our family which has 3 boys (10, 12 & 14). The local restaurants and shop attendants were all very friendly and made all of the children feel welcome. We spent most evenings in the park by the Eiffel tower which was incredible. The location is also very close to public transportation which makes it easy to see other parts of the city. We look forward to coming to Paris and staying in this apartment again.

What an amazing apartment. The location was perfect. It was comfortable, well maintained, well appointed. Our contact there was so helpful and pleasant and available. We could not have been happier. We would definitely rent this beautiful place again. Oh. The owner was fantastic to work with!

Wonderful Paris getaway!

We had a wonderful Christmas in Paris at this spacious, clean, cozy, updated apartment! We were greeted promptly and enjoyed every minute of our stay. It is close to metro and bus, quiet, and had every convenience we could think of! Thank you for an unforgetable stay and also for the prompt return of our deposit! We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Travelling from Canada to Paris with my family for the first time, we were not sure what to expect. Wow. The owner ensured that every detail was considered prior to our arrival - the result being no surprises, a wonderful apartment at an amazing location to see the sights, yet have time to come "home" to relax.

The apartment was in excellent shape and just as advertised. You will not be disappointed. We would highly recommend this location - when fortunate enough to return to Paris - we will be back! Thank you!

Great location!

Our five day visit to Paris was made all the more pleasurable and comfortable because of Dominique and her apartment. It had plenty of room for our family of five - 2 adults, a teenager, and 2 young school aged kids. It is well decorated, equipped, and warm.

We ate at the café downstairs every morning - Le Petit Suffren. And tried some of other restaurants nearby. Firmine (Italian) across the street is yummy.

The timing of our trip allowed us to take advantage of the Pass Navigo Découverte. Using Paris transit was a breeze with this pass and with the multiple bus and metro lines across or just down the street from the apartment.

We did a lot of walking too. The Eiffel Tower is so close!!! We never tired of seeing it and walking in the park nearby.

I was initially hesitant to rent as booking and payment is not through HomeAway. However, after speaking with Dominique, my mind was put at ease. Payment was a painless, secure process and the deposit was returned soon after our departure.

Dominique is kind and her host, Jairo, is extremely helpful. We very much hope to return to Dominique's apartment on Suffren.

WONDERFUL STAY IN THE CITY OF LIGHTS

What a beautiful apartment ! It was spotless clean and very comfortable. The location is the best of Paris just across the Eiffel Tower.

Our children did not want to leave. Buses and Metro are so close within 3 minutes walk. We also use the bus boat on the Seine river which was fantastic and convenient to all places we wanted to see. The bakery next door is so delicious. Croissants, cakes and baguettes are to die for. We could not help going there twice a day.

The Owner is very nice and helpful and cares for her place and her guests. When we arrived, we were told that they were so sorry because they had to delay our check-in time due to big mess caused by previous occupants. We dropped our luggage and noticed the mess. it seriously needed major additional cleaning. We understood that it was not the Owner's fault and waited until late night to move in and were happy the place was back in order and immaculately clean and all was perfect. In exchange for the inconvenience, we received a bonus compensation. This is pretty rare and much appreciated ...This home is no brainer.... We left everything in good order and received our security deposit back as soon as we got home.

Thank you Dominique and thanks to the kind host- We love Paris and can't wait to be back.

We highly recommend this fantastic apartment for families with or without children.

Hi Maxim,

Hope you had a nice Labor-day Week-end. Sorry for not contacting you faster but due to the long labor day WE, I was only able to talk to the staff this morning.

Here is the outcome....

- The leather cushions, pillows and accessories from the living high end sofa were on the floor in the 2nd bedroom. (It looks like the kids had fun fighting with them... they have a few minor scratches and needed to be thoroughly cleaned).

- Pillows and books in pandemonium

- The TV remote from the living room disappeared and it took several hours to find it stuck behind in the kid's bedroom. (It should remain next to main TV as found upon arrival)

- Radio and sound system turned over and disconnected.

- Many debris and crusts all over the floor. Floor was very sticky. (spilled over from some kind of drinks and stepped on).

- Dishes had to be scrubbed because some dry left over food on some.

- Bathroom was filthy beyond normal.

- Several items in the apartment were moved and not put back on their original places.

- Bed slats were found broken

As you can imagine, this is unusual as everyone keeps the place in good order at departure and place back as found upon arrival besides laundry and mopping. Here there was much more to do beyond standard.

You told me over the phone that you left your children unsupervised for a while which may explain the unusual mess and we also understand you had a red eye departure which prevented you from putting all in good order. However, we also hope for your understanding that per our signed agreement we cannot avoid deducting additional time and expenses from the deposit. I appreciated our phone conversation and explanation the other day and consequently shall not forfeit your deposit 100% but to make it fair to all parties, we will return one-fourth of your deposit to you. Again please note that this is extremely unusual from our end as we rarely encounter this kind of incidents but having to delay next guests to complete heavier tasks following your departure date, we again trust your understanding as an owner point of view and satisfaction to others guests since we like to maintain satisfaction to everyone.

Owner's Response: OMG, What can I say about this review? This is not even a standard review but a copied and pasted email which was ALTERED by the Guest pretending I wrote it. I am still questioning why Home Away would publish such fraud when the Home Owner can prove the truth in good faith. Retaliation is simply gratuitous and not beneficial to any party. To make a long story short, After hosting so many wonderful guests +++++ over the past recent years , Here is the outcome concerning this Russian Guest who conveyed to me, he loved our apartment and had such a great time in Paris. The problem is that they did not make us so happy when we discovered the devastating mess and damages caused by them in our beautiful place. Pandemonium is the right word: The bed frame was broken in half, Our luxury Italian leather sofa was turned upside down, They broke the bedroom lock, Dislocated 2 Chairs, Torn some of our books, left Dirty food and spilled drinks all over the place, Bathroom and toilets were horribly filthy, devices such as TV, Radio, Modem were disconnected and remote control not be found. Most of our items were on the floor or misplaced and the list goes on... What happened did we ask him? His answer was, "We are so sorry, but we left our kids alone inside the apartment (7 and 8 years old) during the day while we went sightseeing the beautiful monuments of Paris and we just had no time to put the place back in good order because we had to catch an early plane back home. I said: "YOU LEFT YOUR KIDS ALONE FOR HOURS WHO HAD FUN FIGHTS, RUNNING, JUMPING ALL OVER. HOW IRRESPONSIBLE!!! Thanks God no physical accidents occurred" Who in the right mind who leave his kids alone in a building? It is beyond my understanding. After apologizing to us, he agreed 100% to pay from his security deposit for the mess and damages and we did not even charge him the full cost. Maybe we should have. How dares he leaving such review and altering my email. .. We had to urgently fix and replace much stuff and hire triple crew to get our cherished home detailed cleaned and back in good order and of course we gave monetary compensation to our next guests for not being able to check in timely. They were very understandings and patients and felt bad for us. I guess once in a blue moon, owners must deal with such unusual situation. Our place is beautiful again... We have had new wonderful guests since and we are back on track and thanks to everyone for reading this.
