Loggerhead Cay # 151 is a ground floor, Gulf front condominium located near where the causeway ends up at the Gulf of Mexico. The complex prides itself with its beautiful landscaping and is located at the east end of the island, not far from the fishing pier and lighthouse. Loggerhead Cay is ideal for families with children, as it offers many entertaining activities for children, such as: large heated swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffle board courts and a recreation facility complete with kitchen and B-B-Q gas grills. The facility can be reserved at the Loggerhead Cay office for large group get togethers, such as family reunions.
As you enter the condominium, you experience the spacious open kitchen, dining room and living area that is furnished with island appeal. Guests enjoy an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico.
The condominium has two bedrooms, large closets and two full bathrooms. It has a king sized bed, two twin beds and a queen sized hide-a-bed. The master bedroom and living areas face the Gulf of Mexico where you can hear the sounds of the surf and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico.
For your convenience, we have free long distance, HDTV, HBO and Show Time, DVD Blue Ray, and high-speed internet/WiFi at no cost to you. We all love our pets, so we welcome your pet with a $250 non-refundable pet fee. The property sleeps 6 people comfortably and was updated in 2015/2017. I spent over $95,000 to update it, both bathrooms were updated (5/2017) with new tile, new bath tub shower enclosures, fixtures/faucets, beveled glass mirrors, tile planks in the bedrooms/bathrooms. New granite countertops/sinks and new windows and sliding glass doors with high impact hurricane glass and tile planks in the living room, dining room, kitchen and lanai. The tile planks look like hardwood floors, brand new sofa/hide-a-bed with an extra thick 8" mattress and love seat (July, 2016), new chair and ottoman Oct., 2016, all of the wicker furniture in the dining room a bar stools were painted and were reupholstered (Dec., 2016), new heating/AC system, new kitchen, new hot water heater, new washer and dryer, new refrigerator, new dishwasher, new living room furniture, new beds, new carpet, new linai furniture, and three flat screen TV's/DVD players in the living room and both bedrooms. The living room has a new 50" flat screen TV (5/2016) HDTV and HBO and SHOWTIME movie channels at no cost. The kitchen is well equipped with a Keurig and regular coffee maker, crock pot and blender.

Perfect Condo near the beach
This is a perfect rental if you want to be near the beach. It is on the first floor, so access is easy for families with children or for the beach lovers that are living their golden years. The condo has been recently redone with new flooring and updated bathrooms. The flooring is perfect if you are travelling with small pets (which the owner graciously allows if under a certain weight). This is our second year staying at this condo and have already booked again for 2019. We wouldn't stay anywhere else on the island. The owner contacts us to make sure that we are enjoying the condo and if there are any issues that he needs to be made aware of. Also, he is more than happy to recommend eating establishments if you need recommendations. Also, try the real maple syrup at the Lighthouse Cafe, the owner was right about it, it is fantastic! If you are wanting to visit Sanibel and need a place to stay that is updated with great beach access, don't hesitate to rent this condo. You won't be disappointed!!
The condo is exactly as described. It is the perfect location with a water view. We sat on the enclosed porch every morning and evening . Clean, well decorated, perfect set up for us .

Beautiful updated condo in great location
We were pleasantly surprised by this great condo in a beautiful location on Sanibel Island (our favorite place in the world!) We have been vacationing on the island for 35 years and this is one of the best condos we’ve stayed in. The owner was great to work with too. Newly renovated- esp loved the updated bathrooms. The location in Loggerhead Cay is great- looks out on the manicured lawn and the beach beyond. The first floor is perfect if you have a pet. Rooms are spacious and the separate 2nd bedroom and bath can have their own exit door too. Hoping to return to this condo next year too!
Loggerhead Cay Unit 151 is the perfect spot - gulf view and sunrise from the lanai, very short walk to the beach, close to pool, easy in and out from this ground floor unit and the complex allows for an easy exit off the island. Kind of a hike to the grills though. The unit is spacious and updated, lots of cooking and kitchen gear (not that we ate in very much!). Very comfortable bedding. The owner was very attentive and helpful, and the management company was very responsive.
Other Activities: Shopping, biking, great restaurants, kayaking, racquetball, mini golf, basketball, boating, fishing, wildlife viewing.

Additional information about rental rates
Cancellation Policy: $85 cancellation fee paid to my Management Company if cancelled outside of 60 Days from the guests arrival with deposit being refunded. Inside of 60 days of the guest arrival date, it depends if the condo get rented and for how much. If it is rented for the same amount, the deposit will be refunded minus the $85 cancellation fee that my Management Company charges. If it is rented at a lower rate, than the refunded deposit will be the difference between the original rate and the discounted rate minus the $85 cancellation fee. This is a pet friendly condominium with a $250 non-refundable fee.
