Loggerhead Cay # 151 is a ground floor, Gulf front condominium located near where the causeway ends up at the Gulf of Mexico. The complex prides itself with its beautiful landscaping and is located at the east end of the island, not far from the fishing pier and lighthouse. Loggerhead Cay is ideal for families with children, as it offers many entertaining activities for children, such as: large heated swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffle board courts and a recreation facility complete with kitchen and B-B-Q gas grills. The facility can be reserved at the Loggerhead Cay office for large group get togethers, such as family reunions.

As you enter the condominium, you experience the spacious open kitchen, dining room and living area that is furnished with island appeal. Guests enjoy an unobstructed view of the Gulf of Mexico.

The condominium has two bedrooms, large closets and two full bathrooms. It has a king sized bed, two twin beds and a queen sized hide-a-bed. The master bedroom and living areas face the Gulf of Mexico where you can hear the sounds of the surf and enjoy the beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico.

For your convenience, we have free long distance, HDTV, HBO and Show Time, DVD Blue Ray, and high-speed internet/WiFi at no cost to you. We all love our pets, so we welcome your pet with a $250 non-refundable pet fee. The property sleeps 6 people comfortably and was updated in 2015/2017. I spent over $95,000 to update it, both bathrooms were updated (5/2017) with new tile, new bath tub shower enclosures, fixtures/faucets, beveled glass mirrors, tile planks in the bedrooms/bathrooms and I will put in new granite countertops/sinks and new windows and sliding glass doors and tile planks in the living room, dining room, kitchen and lanai in (8/2017). The tile planks look like hardwood floors, brand new sofa/hide-a-bed with an extra thick 8" mattress and love seat (July, 2015), new chair and ottoman Oct., 2015, all of the wicker furniture in the dining room a bar stools were painted and were reupholstered (Dec., 2015), new heating/AC system, new kitchen, new hot water heater, new washer and dryer, new refrigerator, new dishwasher, new living room furniture, new beds, new carpet, new linai furniture, and three flat screen TV's/DVD players in the living room and both bedrooms. The living room has a new 50" flat screen TV (5/2016) HDTV and HBO and SHOWTIME movie channels at no cost. The kitchen is well equipped with a Keurig and regular coffee maker, crock pot and blender.

We had a great vacation in Sanibel. We were blessed with great weather and fishing the entire trip. 151 was a great location with a beautiful view of the gulf, even from the first floor. Being on the first floor made it convenient for us to come and go to the beach or pool. I think your building is the best in loggerhead. We were very happy with the cleanliness and level of comfort inside of your condo. We slept great every night on the nice mattresses.

We had a great time at Loggerhead Cay. The Property was awesome. The beach and pool were very close and we enjoyed ourselves. Would definitely recommend this location to others.

Fantastic property

This unit was great!! The fact that it is on the first floor made no difference as you could see the gulf perfectly. The unit also sits between the pool and gulf so it made access a breeze. The interior was well decorated and well maintained and offered anything you needed to cook etc. we will definitely be returning next Summer.

Beautiful beachfront condo!

Just returned from a weeklong stay. The condo is a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath unit on the ground floor with access to the pool/beach from the lanai. The beds are very comfortable, the tile is convenient if you re bringing a pet, the furnishings in the living/dinning room are updated. The owner is very accommodating and is available to answer any questions you may have. He stated that the unit will be getting new floors, windows and doors and kitchen in August 2017. The building is very well maintained with beautiful lawns. We enjoyed bike rides on the island, fishing on the Sanibel Pier, shopping, and swimming in the ocean. We recommend stopping at Publix before entering the island as prices in the Island are a little inflated. The only negative for us was that the grills were far from the apartment and we grilled a lot. We wished that the building had grills by the pool. However, we prefer to be close to beach than close to the grills. All in all, a great place to stay!

Owner's Response: The grills are located by the tennis and shuffle board courts less than 100 yards from my golf front condo. The owners decided against having grills by the pool for sanitary and safety reasons.

Fabulous condo

This condo has everything you need for a relaxed stay. The inside is nicely furnished; the kitchen is well stocked; it was spotless when we arrived.

The lanai faces the Gulf and was perfect for my aunt.

Beach items are provided including pails, shovels, chairs, floats, umbrella and towels - you don't need to bring anything to enjoy a week in this lovely place.

The only complaint is that the week flew by and it was time to leave too soon.

We loved the little brown bunny who said hello each morning.

Thanks Jim for the phone call checking to make sure we were settled in. You are the perfect host. Hope to come again next year but for two weeks instead of just one.

Enjoyed our Stay at Loggerhead Cay 151

We recently stayed in Loggerhead Cay 151 during the week of 4th of July. The condo was very cozy but also quite large for the 4 of us that stayed there. The location of Loggerhead Cay is extremely close to several great restaurants. Being that this unit is on the ground level it made it super convenient when unloading bags & groceries. You're just a short walk to the beach and pool. The condo was stocked with everything we needed to cook meals and all furniture was extremely comfortable. We will definitely consider this location when booking future visits to Sanibel island.

Fantastic views, perfect location, gulf views!!!

This was a fantastic rental. It had a fabulous view of the gulf, was a ground floor unit and was pet friendly. The furnishings were very comfortable and up to date. The bathrooms had new fixtures and an updated look. The beds were very comfortable and the bedrooms had TV's which was a bonus. I loved the floors being all tile, easy to clean if you forget to take your shoes off before entering. Rental owner contacted us to make sure everything was to our expectations and if we needed any assistance with anything. The personal contact was a pleasant surprise, which is why we will be booking this rental again next year. If you are looking for a rental on Sanibel Island, you won't be disappointed with this one!
