Why Bill & Lisa chose Olympic Peninsula

There is so much to do in Port Townsend and The Olympic National Park, including hiking, beach combing, festivals, golf, wineries, art galleries, antique shops and craft beer pubs. Port Townsend hosts the famous Wooden Boat Festival, The Jazz Festival and the quirky Kinetic Festival. Our town is a great place for relaxing, enjoying fine restaurants or beach walking. The house is 10-15 minutes away from Fort Worden, which is popular with visitors because of the beach. Port Townsend is part of the Olympic Rain Shadow/Banana Belt. Cities inside this area enjoy more sunshine and less rain than the rest of the Northwest. And Port Townsend is the perfect home base to enjoy day trips to the San Juan Islands, Sequin, Olympic National Park, the Hoh Rain Forest and Forks.

Beautiful vacation home!

  • 5 of 5

This home is in a great location - very quiet and peaceful on a huge piece of property, yet close enough to be a very short drive to Port Townsend. Great access to hiking trails. The home is very clean, cozy and comfortable with lots of nice touches to make it feel like home. We very much enjoyed our vacation here.

Clean, quiet & relaxing

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the Guest Nest while our son was attending the Jazz Port Townsend Workshop at Fort Worden. The house is exceptionally clean and well-equipped. The location is great: out of town in the quiet of the woods, but close enough that we could be in town or at the fort in about 10 minutes.

Very clean, well appointed and cozy

The property is in a secluded area very conveniently located near PT. The house is a renter's paradise....just bring your clothes, everything else is provided. It was a pleasant surprise. We look forward to renting again in the future.

Thank you, Lisa and Bill

Quiet, relaxing, beautiful house!

  • 5 of 5

My wife baby and I had two nights here. We all love it. The were toys for the baby, books and DVDs for us.

Felt like we were way out of town but you can get to Port Townsend in 10 mins.

We visited 3 state parks. All within easy driving from the Guest Nest.

Highly recommended
