Why Bill & Lisa chose Port Townsend
There is so much to do in Port Townsend and The Olympic National Park, including hiking, beach combing, festivals, golf, wineries, art galleries, antique shops and craft beer pubs. Port Townsend hosts the famous Wooden Boat Festival, The Jazz Festival and the quirky Kinetic Festival. Our town is a great place for relaxing, enjoying fine restaurants or beach walking. The house is 10-15 minutes away from Fort Worden, which is popular with visitors because of the beach. Port Townsend is part of the Olympic Rain Shadow/Banana Belt. Cities inside this area enjoy more sunshine and less rain than the rest of the Northwest. And Port Townsend is the perfect home base to enjoy day trips to the San Juan Islands, Sequin, Olympic National Park, the Hoh Rain Forest and Forks.

Charming cabin in the woods - close to Downtown Pt. Townsend and easy access to National Park
Immaculate and well stocked - perfect weekend get-away
Lovely and peaceful
The forest house is really well situated, easy to find and a bit secluded, and super cute. Bill and Lisa really did think of everything making it so you're not wanting anything that's not already there. The property itself is also beautiful and the proximity to the Larry Scott trail is sooo nice! I'd love to stay here again :)
Yes, this place is immaculately clean and has a great location near Port Townsend in a quiet, forested area. But the best part about this rental is that it truly feels warm and welcoming; the owners have gone to great lengths to make sure that every need is provided for, and as a result, the guests end up feeling like they are genuinely wanted and welcomed-- --very thoughtful hosts. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
Comfortable, cosy, clean getaway in the middle of the woods. We will definitely be back!
Lovely place in the woods. Comfortable and very, very clean. Well equipped kitchen, bathroom, laundry room, cleaning supplies. Comfortable beds. Lots of DVD movies to choose from. We will definitely be back! Thank you Bill and Lisa for a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day.
Beautiful property, lovely hosts
This is a very clean, well appointed house in a nice forested area. The hosts were very helpful and gracious, even offering to lend us art supplies for our craft project if we needed them! Port Townsend is only minutes away and it is full of fun things to do and great restaurants. The home itself is very near to extensive walking trails in the woods. The only downside is that there is a practice shooting range within earshot. The sound cannot be heard inside the home. I mention it only because this might be an issue for some people. Other than this item, this is a very nice rental in a beautiful area.
Wonderfully quiet weekend
The house was wonderful and had all the essentials. It was extremely nice and far enough away from the road that it was very quiet. Yet close enough to town to give us lots of time to enjoy the area.
