There is so much to do in Port Townsend and The Olympic National Park, including hiking, beach combing, festivals, golf, wineries, art galleries, antique shops and craft beer pubs. Port Townsend hosts the famous Wooden Boat Festival, The Jazz Festival and the quirky Kinetic Festival. Our town is a great place for relaxing, enjoying fine restaurants or beach walking. The house is 10-15 minutes away from Fort Worden, which is popular with visitors because of the beach. Port Townsend is part of the Olympic Rain Shadow/Banana Belt. Cities inside this area enjoy more sunshine and less rain than the rest of the Northwest. My wife baby and I had two nights here. We all love it. The were toys for the baby, books and DVDs for us.
Felt like we were way out of town but you can get to Port Townsend in 10 mins.
We visited 3 state parks. All within easy driving from the Guest Nest.
Very nice, clean and well appointed. Close to town and the event we were attending. Would happily stay again!
We really enjoyed our scenic and relaxing stay at The Guest Nest. The hosts were very accommodating and flexible, and easy to communicate with prior to our arrival. The space itself was very clean and well generously stocked with snacks and ample amenities. The Guest Nest was very charming and we'd happily stay again.
Our family enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving get away at the Guest Nest last year. The home was very clean and well appointed, and the owners were gracious and very thoughtful during our stay. We loved the quiet of the property, in the midst of larger woods. We would definitely stay there on future trips.
Will be back, our daughter lives locally and great to have her so close.
Perfect location just outside of port townsend, tons of restaurants (esp thai food), ferry access to whidbey and if you wanted just a couple hours from Seattle. We however, were there to get away and it provided exactly that. It was very well outfitted and seriously had the most comfortable futon couch I've ever encountered, perfect for relaxing after a long day of driving or exploring. Also, one of the most cleanest homes I've ever Air-VRBO-BnB'd
Will definitely put this home on my "will return" list.
