Oetz, the place that gave its name to the Ötztal, is considered the first classic winter sports center in the valley due to its location in the Ötztal. The family-friendly Tyrolean Hochoetz ski area, easily reachable within 8 minutes on the Acherkogel cable car, offers pure winter sports fun. 34 perfectly groomed slopes are waiting to be tested by you. The extensive network of trails that Oetz surrounds invites you to explore nature on your own. Unique and impressive is the natural jewel of Oetz, the Piburgersee. A walk there is definitely worth it. Culture lovers will feel right at home in the old town center of Oetz - painted houses from the 16th century. and the tower museum invite you on a journey into the past! Other Activities: Rafting, canyoning Golf: Olympia Golf IGLS Igls - a classic among Tyrolean holiday villages. Recreation, wellness and sports have their Olympic roots here. And yet - sightseeing and shopping in Innsbruck are just a few drives away. The well defended greens and many water hazards of the Olympic golf course Igls make for an exciting game all over the place.
