*OUR CABIN WAS FORTUNATELY NOT DAMAGED IN THE RECENT FIRES.*

This is our personal vacation cabin. We've had this property for 28 years. In 2005 we tore down our old house & built this cabin. While the cabin is 11 years old now and has some minor wear and tear, it is still as glorious as ever! The view is always amazing and the setting is wonderfully relaxing. I promise, it's the most peaceful place you'll ever be! It sits atop a mountain that you easily access from Hwy 321. No long, windy road. It is less than a mile from 321. The road up to the cabin is paved. There is one switchback curve but is plenty wide enough for any vehicle. It is Very private. No 'cabin community' with 50 other cabins on top of you. If you're looking for what the mountains are all about this is it!! It is located 15-20 minutes outside Gatlinburg. You get the true taste of the Smokies here. It sits directly across the street from the National Park. The 15 mile Old Setters Hiking Trail is at the bottom of the hill. The most raw, natural, untouched part of the park is just minutes down the road. A few miles in the opposite direction is Greenbriar. This is one of the most beautiful rivers in the park. You can swim, tube, fish, picnic, hike, butterfly watch or ride thru. I admit, I'm biased, but I believe this is the best cabin in the Smokies!

About Heather

My husband, 4 children and myself live on a horse farm about an hour from the cabin. I am a horse trainer & children's minister.

This rental property was purchased by my grandmother in 1987. I grew up on this property so it is very dear to my heart. In 2005 we tore down the old house and built the cabin. I designed the cabin, had the blueprints drawn, oversaw construction & chose each unique detail you see...except the spectacular view, of course. God gets the glory for that ;-)

Heather purchased this cabin in 1987

Why Heather chose Tennessee

I have never met a person that has not fallen in love with it.

There is an anointed peace in this place. I am so grateful to be able to experience it and feel blessed to get to share it with others.

What makes this cabin unique

I tell everyone that our house is what coming to the smokies is all about. Peace and tranquility. Many, many guests have altered their plans to get to spend more time in the cabin enjoying the view.

Guestbook comments from the manager

Heather, just wanted to take a quick moment to let you know how much we enjoyed our experience at your cabin. First, the location was ideal! Not far from downtown Gatlinburg and at the same time very private and quiet......from our experience of many, many years of renting cabins around Gatlinburg..... that is a very rare combination.....close, yet quiet and private! Second the views are outstanding! Seeing all those mountains snow capped was just stunning! Thirdly, the type of construction of the cabin and the decor of the cabin made it feel like a great get-a-way! Lastly, the cabin had everything anyone could ever want including a great kitchen, a beautiful outdoor fireplace, great porches to enjoy the outdoors, comfortable beds and even a washer/dryer if needed. We will most certainly be back and would highly recommend the cabin to anyone!

This cabin was amazing! We have been coming to Gatlinburg every year for over 30 years. We have 2 teenage children and were wanting something roomy enough for our family to enjoy. This has been my favorite so far! So beautiful and the mountain view is gorgeous. Loved the outdoor fireplace! The owner, Heather, was great to work with and always returned my text promptly. My family will definitely book again! Secluded and peaceful but only about 15 minutes to city. Loved, loved, loved this place!! Susan

Beautiful Cabin with a Million Dollar View

We thoroughly enjoyed this cabin so much we stayed an extra night. Gatlinburgs weather forecast called for 5-7 inches of snow. We were rushing to beat the snow before the ice could settle. Unfortunately, we were unsuccessful driving up to the cabin. It was around 9pm and we were stuck! The owners traveled over an hour and drove us up to the cabin in the middle of the night. We are forever thankful! P.s. after the ice melted, the drive to the cabin was a breeze and so pretty! The cabin was breathtaking and we had the most enjoyable vacation! A true "home-like" feel. The back porch was one of our favorite spots! The seclusion of the cabin is perfect and not far from downtown! We didn't want to leave but we will most definitely be returning! Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin and for going above and beyond!

Great family get together!

We stayed at this cabin for 6 nights. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained and clean when we arrived. The views from this cabin are amazing. There are many essentials in the cabin that you may need and forget to bring. We used the outdoor fireplace alot and also the BBQ pit. There were 7 of us staying in the cabin and we had more than enough room. The kitchen is roomy and we prepared a large meal New Year's Eve for everyone. The washer and dryer were a great addition. This cabin is at a dead end so there is no traffic to deal with. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The owner Heather was very helpful and quick getting back to us if we had a question. Thanks again!
