Welcome to our thatched roofkate from the year 1740 - Let your soul dangle
At the old mill dike with Warftlage on the edge of the Fries village Emmelsbüll-Horsbüll off the road is the lovingly restored Reetdachkate with fenced garden for your four-legged friends.
In our historic Frisian house in Warftlage, you live with 2 people and your pets a small, separate, very lovingly furnished apartment. In the apartment and throughout the house, we have preserved as much original substance as possible, as you can see in the ceiling beams, windows and the Klöntür. Even in "old masonry" a comfortable interior is possible.
So you will find in the rustic, country-style kitchen, of course, many modern electrical appliances. Kettle, coffee maker, toaster, 4 ring stove with oven, fridge freezer and dishes, glasses, pots, pans and cutlery are included, so you have nothing to spare.
The front door is a so-called "Klöntür". So one could (and of course still today) leaning out of the window and chatting with the neighbor (keep a chat).
The door can be opened normally, or only the upper half. The lower half remains closed. Central heating and underfloor heating should make your holiday in the winter to a cozy cuddly experience.
Up the stairs (carpet on the steps for all four-legged friends), the living room with cable TV and a comfortable sofa. Very romantic in a niche under the thatched roof you sleep in your cozy fresh-coated bed.
The bathroom is of course modern with shower and toilet. Bath and shower towels are also available.
Free for our guests: DSL with LAN connection. Please bring your laptop.
The outdoor area
Outside, we have created a garden with garden furniture for our guests. This garden area is fenced, so your four-legged friends can play around here. Please understand that I accept a daily allowance of € 5.00 per four-legged friend. Please let me know in advance if that is the case.
There is also a separate barbecue area. Unfortunately, when the wind is unfavorable, it is not possible to grill, as the flying roof would jeopardize the thatched roof. A brief consultation with us clarifies this but from.
The Friesenhaus am Mühlendeich stands off the road on a hill (hill) in the outskirts of the old Fries village Emmelsbüll-Horsbüll.
The Friesenhaus is located about 2000 m as the crow flies from the North Frisian Wadden Sea. Since 2009, the Wadden Sea WORLD NATURERBE.
