Our spacious condo comfortably sleeps seven in beds or nine if you use the fold-out. The master bedroom is private with a king size bed. The en-suite bathroom has a garden tub, separate shower, and two sinks. Additionally, the master has access to the corner wrap balcony and a view of the gulf. Please be aware that we rent Saturday to Saturday during the Summer.
The second bedroom, with a view of Mobile Bay, has a queen bed with private bathroom.
The third bedroom has a twin and full bed. This room is great for kids. This room also has its own bath with a tub/shower combo and two sinks. This bathroom opens to the bedroom and also to the hallway.
There is also a sleeper sofa in the living room.
Our condo is very nicely furnished and decorated with bright beach colors. The living area is quite large and has a beautiful view of the gulf. It also boasts a nice sized flat panel television and DVD. The patio wraps around the entire living area and master bedroom. Each of the bedrooms has a TV and DVD.
The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. The dining area seats six with no crowding.
We are located on the second floor by the stairs so there is no need to wait on an elevator.
The Indies is located miles away from crowded beaches, but only a short drive to unlimited shopping, fantastic golf courses and activities for the kids. The beach is uncrowded with miles of undisturbed shore line for walking and exploring.
The large pool features a cascading waterfall with lots of lounge chairs for sunbathing. Additionally, the pool area has a kiddy pool and hot tub. We also have a fantastic roof top terrace to enjoy the view of the gulf and bay, or just relax and read a book. Two well equipped fitness rooms are available for our guests.
The Indies also features:
Outdoor grilling area
This condo is non-smoking except on the balcony.

We are both Alabama natives, who grew up coming down to Gulf Shores every summer. We now practice law in Montgomery, Alabama.
We both grew up vacationing in Gulf Shores and enjoy taking our kids here on vacation. Some of my best memories are of night crabbing and body surfing with my family. Our son loves the Dauphin Island SeaLab aquarium, you could almost walk to the ferry to Dauphin Island from the Indies. It is a really fun way to spend a day riding the ferry and enjoying the SeaLab and nature walk on Dauphin Island.
The Indies gives you that old beach experience like when we were growing up. There are no high rises or crowds. Once at the beach you've got state park to your west all the way to the end of the island. You can walk over to Fort Morgan from the beach and explore.
Even though this area of the beach is peaceful and uncrowded there is a fun bar and restaurant, Tacky Jacks, right across the street. There is also a marina where you can hire a boat for fishing or a jet ski or kayaks for some adventure.
I just wanted you to know we had a wonderful time at your beach condo last week. In our rush out the door we forgot to sign the guest book.
It had everything we needed and was so nice and clean. We loved hanging out on the balcony with the great view!
Hope to stay there again one day!
We highly recommend this beach rental for families who want a quiet and relaxing vacation. The property is well maintained and has nice amenities. It is close enough to the hustle and bustle of Gulf Shores, yet it is far enough away that you don't feel as though you need a vacation from your vacation.
We loved this corner unit and don't have any complaints. The keys and parking pass were mailed to me prior to the trip and everything was just as described by the owners. Great view of the ocean from inside or can go out on the balcony for fresh air when it isn't too hot. Nice pool that is easily accessible as well as a top floor terrace with even better views. The master bedroom was big with a huge bed, nice double vanity bathroom, and the room's private sliding door to the patio. The other two rooms were a good size as well with nice bathrooms. The kitchen is an appropriate size for a condo with nice appliances and furnished dishes, silverware, etc. Plenty of kitchen for vacation and quality stuff. The condo was nice and clean for us and we made sure to do our part to keep it cleaned throughout the week and minimize the cleaning needed after we left. It is about a 1/4 mile walk to the beach so really not bad at all, or you can always drive down there if unable to walk that distance. It is further down the peninsula so it's a bit of a drive into town where more restaurants are but it was nice being away from the crowds of people and shopping centers.
I would highly recommend this property to friends and relatives. Thank You!
This was our first time staying in this condo and it was great! It is very spacious and the view was amazing. We will definitely be returning to this condo. Highly recommend this condo!
Great stay and fun after a few bumps were ironed out! We would rent this place year after year! We loved it!
George Hans is an alright guy. He is honest and will do his best to make sure you have a good stay. It is easy to see how he has people coming to stay there for 20 plus years. We had a wonderful vacation!
We have stayed here twice now, two years consecutively, and it is always nice. The condo is homey and fully stocked. I hate the "hotel feel", so this was great. I'm sure we plan on staying again in the future.
