Not so much a smart TV

The property is close to mille lacs lake but out of town in the middle of a field. It says it has 10 acres for your use but the land is not marked well and there were people in a camper not far from house. And someone kept riding a side by side right through the yard close to the house and fire pit. This was a bit weird. The bed in the back upstairs room was super uncomfortable and the basement smelled musty. They should have a dehumidifier going in the basement. They advertise a fire pit but do not provide any firewood. The kitchen was stocked ok and they had plenty of towels and extra blankets. The trash cans outside were full of garbage and attracted a LOT of flys. If they emptied the cans weekly it would eliminate the fly problem. The worst part is even though they advertise a smart TV, there was absolutely no internet for your use. But they have inernet they just do not give you access to it and do not tell you that you need to provide your own Hotspot. They had a roku on back of TV but took the cord so you cannot use it. Most rental places I have been to have streaming services available and or internet or cable TV. This has nothing but a handful of a super old movies on disk. And the only TV is in the musty smelling basement. They need to tell people up front about no internet. I needed to have internet access for school work. And while our family does not watch much TV while on vacation, we do like to watch a movie or two at the end of the day.

Excellent stay

Kathleen is awesome to work with!! Very responsive!! The house is clean and comfy!! Cute decor!!! Peaceful and relaxing location!! And super close to the soo line if you’re having a four-wheeling weekend!! 🙃 Only minutes into wahkon to the bars/restaurants! Worked out very well for our group of 6!! Would definitely stay again!
