We have stayed at this property several times over the years. It's in a great location and in the driest part of the island. The unit this year #OT-902 was in good shape and well maintained as you should expect for the price you pay. The only downside is the anal attitude of the employees regarding parking between the lines (don't let your tires touch the lines) its actually pretty funny when you relate it to the soup nazi.
We were very pleased with our stay at Ko'Olina Beach Villas during Christmas week 2016. I had originally been trying to decide between renting in Waikkiki and here, and after spending time at both, I know we made the right call. The villa was spacious and very comfortable, with a lovely view. Our group included an 8 yr old child, her parents, and grandparents, and there was something for everyone. It was great to have beach chairs, boogie boards and snorkeling equipment included, and the path around the lagoons was good walking territory. The Beach Villas grounds themselves are well manicured and beautifully landscaped, and every time we had a question about how some of the appliances worked, the on-site staff were quickly responsive. Having Patrick the greeter meet us the minute we arrived and show us to our place was helpful also. The Villas are a quick 10-15 minute walk from a little shopping center that has a number of restaurants and an ABC (convenience store), and there is even a free shuttle that runs between the major Ko'Olina resorts and the shopping center, although we had no reason to use it. My husband golfed at the Ko'Olina course, which he thought was excellent; we also enjoyed dinner at Monkeypod and Roy's Ko Olina right in the neighborhood (reservations strongly recommended for both). A 15-min drive away is Kapolei, which has just about every big-box store you'd need, along with a waterpark that kept our daughter very happy for a day. All in all, Ko'Olina made a great home base from which to explore the island and an oasis we looked forward to returning to at the end of each day. For those who are looking for packaged day-trips, there is a concierge desk in the lobby that can set you up with such things. Oh, one thing about the swimming pools: I had worried in advance that the "quiet" pool would be unfriendly to kids but it wasn't at all, as long as kids were just swimming and not screaming their heads off. The quiet pool was warm and we never had a problem getting chairs, even during what is ostensibly the busiest week of the year in Hawaii. My only regret is that we only booked for one week instead of two! Thanks, Mike, for renting us your place, and for being helpful and responsive. Happy New Year!
We stayed with our extended family December 16-23rd. We rented both 902 and 903 which was great since they share a hallway all by themselves so we could visit back and forth without disturbing other guests. Great ocean view from both lanais as well as golf course views from the bedrooms. Lots of room for everyone. Kitchen had every appliance you could need. Lots of beach towels as well as beach toys and beach chairs which came in handy. We mostly used the lagoon pool as we have small children (the lap pool is the quiet area) and we never had trouble finding a few chairs to sit in while the kids played. The lagoon is just outside the complex and much less crowded than the lagoons in front of the Aulani and the Marriott. Short walk to the Paradise Cove Luau as well as the small shopping center with market as well as several restaurants. Overall great place to stay and we'd definitely come back.

This condo is absolutely wonderful. It has everything you could possibly need and plenty of room for a big family. We had 2 adults and 3 kids ages 12, 13 and 16. Everyone was able to retreat to an area of their own after a long day of enjoying the island. The grounds are immaculate. It's nice and peaceful unlike Waikiki or even next door at the Disney Aulani. The lagoon right in front of the condos is great for snorkeling. We saw tropical fish and even sea turtles. The only downside is that you do have to drive at least a half hour to get anywhere and the shopping and dining are limited. But it's worth it for the peace and quiet and affordability. I would recommend this condo to anyone. We will definitely be back!
This was our third stay at the three bedroom (2009, 2011 & 2016), have loved it every single time. Will definitely keep returning. Starting to feel like a home away from home =).
