The owners, Gordon and Joanne are both professionals. Gordon was the developer of the building housing this penthouse villa, and spent some three years overseeing every detail of this well-appointed apartment home.

As a developer of major residential properties in Vancouver, we chose this location as it enjoys excellent views of English Bay and the North Shore Mountains, is quiet yet close to the high end shops on First Avenue below, and is in one of Vancouver's most sought after neighbourhoods. Within 10 minutes is downtown, the beach, Granville Market, the Fourth Avenue shopping district.
Those staying in this penthouse villa will feel as though they are one of the world's best resorts. Every detail for fine living has been considered. This penthouse has been home to one of the world's leading male vocalists, as well as to a very recent host of the Oscars, among others.
Hi Joanne, first of all, we had a brilliant week at your stunning apartment !! Everything was perfect from meeting your Mum, the detailed instructions, the equipment and facilities provided, the location, and especially the rooftop garden !!l The weather was very good that week so we spent a lot of time sitting up there either in the morning, afternoon, dinner and nighttime during the times we were not on our trips discovering Vancouver Downtown. One special evening was the Wednesday when we had a BBQ from produce bought from Granville Island markets then we watched the fireworks !! Incredible view we had while also watching the crowds disperse after the show. We used the local shops and we ate at most of the restaurants/cafes downstairs and visited 4th Ave a few times. Overall, an incredible week and thoroughly enjoyable.
We spent 3 weeks in the apartment while working and sightseeing. Great facilities, location and service. We spent most of the time walking along the beach, which is minutes away, walking to the city centre (20 mins) and driving to the mountains (20 mins). There was only 3 of us, including our 13 year old son, but the apartment could house a lot more. The roof terrace was amazing for sunbathing, entertaining and for watching the sunset. Would definitely recommend and plan to return in the near future.

We would highly recommend it for families and adults alike. It is in a fabulous location. Totally private on the top floor with a stunning roof top garden and spectacular views for sunsets and even fireworks. All was luxurious, clean, tidy and so spacious. Very well equipped. We ate in, had BBQs and ate out too.
We were able to explore the locality easily without a car. Hired bikes from Fir St to cycle round to Stanley Park, walked to Granville Markets for fresh produce and to enjoy the independent shops there, went to the beach and Maritime Museum. So many great local restaurants as well.
Our hosts met us on arrival and were very welcoming and thorough, and were available for queries during our stay, although we didn't have any.
For us it was the perfect way to spend our last week in Canada after two weeks in an RV touring the Rockies. Quite a contrast!
We planned a family Christmas so the whole family could gather together. We could not have picked a more perfect place. From the tasteful Christmas decorations and tree that welcomed us upon our arrival, to the attention given to provide toys, high chair and cot for our 18 month grandson every detail was spectacular. Our hosts went above and beyond to ensure our stay was a memorable one.
The condo itself was "Everything and More" that we could have wished for. From the short stoll to the beach, to the boutique coffe shops and restaurants all within walking distance the location was perfect.
If the opportunity arises again this would definately be our "go to" home away from home in Vancouver.
We had a wonderful holiday at this condo. The owners were very welcoming and informative. The property was exactly as listed but surpassed all our expectations. It is truly spectacular, especially the roof terrace with its to die for views and every amenity you could ever want. The location of it is perfect aswell and we often walked the 10 minutes to Granville island to buy delicious food at the market and then cook it in the very well equipped kitchen and on the barbeque on the roof. We didn't sample hardly any of the famous Vancouver restaurants because we couldn't tear ourselves away from the the condo! I would recommend this wonderful place without hesitation.
This condo has all the bells and whistles! The listing photos are exactly what you see when you arrive. It was welcoming, clean and extremely well maintained. The owners even had stacks of wood for guests to use for the fireplace! We had a family of five and tossed a coin to see who would sleep in the room with the glass roof - the raindrops lulled you to sleep! The master bedroom and ensuite were luxurious and the kitchen had every kind of cocktail glass imaginable! The condo was perfect for entertaining and had parking for ourselves and two other cars! The views of the water and the mountains were lovely, especially from the roof-top hot tub. The location was great as it was walking distance to many restaurants, Granville Island and across the street from a small grocer. Very handy! We would definitely recommend this place to friends without hesitation!
We were extremely satisfied with our stay. We were personally greeted when we arrived and shown the space which was well kept, clean and welcoming.
The owners have created a manual with every question any guest might have about the property and promised to be available if we needed anything else. The location is perfect, the space inviting. I can not say enough good things about our experience, from when we booked until the end of our visit.
