Please note 2 of the bedrooms are in the apartment which is attached to the villa and entrance is possible both from within the villa and separately. The apartment also has its own kitchen and lounge.
Our onsite manager can organize and book your trips, recommend where to snorkel, dive, make restaurant or golf bookings and more. The ultra modern design is set in lush gardens from which Richard, our gardener, produces his organic vegetables for your table.
Akasha sits on a hillside in the exclusive Cap Estate looking over the Caribbean sea with views down to the world heritage site of the Pitons and the national park – Pigeon Island. From this unrivalled location you can watch the sail boats and mega yachts as they head into Rodney Bay marina and in the evening with a glass of wine watch the stunning sunsets.

Every room boasts spectacular views, with huge floor to ceiling windows and minimum distractions from the stunning vistas. From the lookout you can see both the Atlantic and the Caribbean.
Enjoy the music and light up the atmosphere: Each bedroom has a flat-panel TV allowing you to choose a movie 'on demand' from the extensive movie library or watch cable TV. Crestron panels located on each floor allow you to manage all the music, lighting, entertainment systems, security, air conditioning, fans and security gates. These can also be controlled via the remote controls found in each room. Alternatively you could just enjoy the peace and tranquility offered by this location. At night time choose a scene from the Lutron lighting system – there are blue LED lights to create a tranquil environment.
Featuring a state of the art Lutron lighting system, and whole home Crestron music and video distribution you can relax by the pool with your favorite sounds delivered right from your own iPod - we suggest you bring it with you, alternatively from the music server which has thousands of tracks of different genres or internet radio. In the Kitchen you will find a blue Italian – Scavolini kitchen which matches the colour of the Caribbean sea and generates a cool ambiance. This gourmet kitchen is equipped with two ovens, microwave, fridge and freezer, dishwasher. In the island unit there is an ice maker, wine cooler, an additional sink and seating for six. The Laundry room houses a further fridge and freezer for storing those extra items when you entertain your guests. Julietta, our house manager, will undertake any light washing required.
Dining is possible inside or outside on the terracing. You can serve those special dishes either inside on the large glass dining table which has seating for 12, outside on the Dining terrace or in the intimate outdoor Nook area. If cooking outside is your thing then why not try the oversize Viking BBQ located by the swim up pool while your friends enjoy their champagne in the pool.
A 2 bedroom guest apartment is attached to the villa. Access is possible via either from inside the villa and or externally. The apartment has its own kitchen, living area and balcony. The queen size sofa can be set up to take extra guests. Both bedrooms have a queen bed and shower room. These bedrooms have views of the garden. Please note the apartment is on two levels.
Akasha – living your dream: Defined in Sanskrit text as 'Ether', the most subtle of the five elements, and in Homeric Greek as 'pure, fresh air' or 'clear sky', Akasha is a positive substance, filled with unseen energies and intelligence.
We are a close family and everything we do we together and the villa is a family project. Now retired enjoying everything and anything.
Surrinder purchased this villa in 2009
We had been going to St Lucia and staying a resort near-by for several years when we say this lot for sale and snapped it up so we could build our dream holiday home. Inspired by the view and island we decided to build the most luxurious villa on the island. Our whole family input to the design so you can be assured there is everything you and your family will need for a great holiday.
Akasha has things no other villa on the island has - just check out the facilities and compare. It is a ideal villa for families and groups of friends looking to enjoy their holiday in a luxury villa. Our local team are there to make the difference.
We had a perfect, relaxing stay in your fantastic house. Everything was very clean, so a credit to Julietta and Gloria's sister. Fred did a great job, nothing was too much trouble for him and he made sure everything was safe inside the house for our 2 young mischievous children. The transfer was a great experience and one i will always remember. it is a nice touch to arrange that for the guest and goes a long way.
Paradise! From the moment we arrived we were treated like kings and queens! The house is gorgeous and has an incredible view from every area. Perfect for entertaining friends and family. The staff took care of everything our entire stay. Cooking, cleaning and even made fresh juice each morning for us to enjoy. The drivers were always on point no matter what time or where we needed to go. Great people! The walk down to the beach is charming and very nice once your there. We had a wonderful vacation there and look forward to experiencing again!
I did not want to leave.
This place is so unreal. My boyfriend booked this amazing villa as a surprise vacation. I felt like we were in the A list world. As we drove into the villa the flowers in the garden were in full bloom and made this place look like a piece of paradise. As the Manager opened the door my jaw hit the floor. We then walked to the balcony and to say the view was something like a movie set would be an understatement. It was stunning.
The master suite did not disappoint either. Every time we walked around the Great Room I felt like a celebrity at her private island retreat.
We ate some of the local restaurants as recommended by Fred, the Manager, and they were pretty good. Juliette prepared some interesting local dishes and juices (and cocktails) for us, such a lovely lady. For our final night we had a chef prepare and cook a romantic dinner by the pool, super dishes better than a 5 star restaurant. This is clearly my special place forever.
When it was time to leave I have to admit I did not want to, we will definitely be back.
The website cannot fully capture just how amazing this property is. The views are unparalleled. From the top floor, you can see the Caribbean and the Atlantic with a swivel of your head. Sunsets are unbelievable. Every detail is impeccable and overall quality is first-class. Don't miss out on asking Julietta to prepare a true St. Lucian breakfast. The salt fish cakes are to die for!
I am speechless. This was by far the best week of my life. Our family was there to celebrate my Mother's 70th birthday. We arrived via helicopter and were greeted by Barbara with a huge smile and the greatest life ever. On the drive up the hill to the property the car was full of gasps and screams of excitement. It sits on a hill overlooking Pigeon Island, the deep blue caribbean ocean and the sunset. We arrived with food and drink already in the kitchen and were blown away by the space and decor on the initial tour. The Villa is spectacular. Julietta and her sister were fantastic, preparing breakfast and lunch for us as well as keeping the place spotless. Fred, the house manager, was as responsive and helpful as possible, not mention just a great guy. Richard does an amazing job with the landscaping and pool maintenance. We opted for a personal chef for 6 of our 7 meals, and Chef Didier and his assistant Junior received applause at every meal. Being a foodie from Chicago, this is high praise, and I strongly recommend his services! Finally Surrinder Chali orchestrated the entire trip with the ease of someone who still has the art of good personal customer service. He is the anchor to the whole villa, and I only wish there were more properties around the world he would manage!
The home is gorgeous, the rooms clean, the movie room and game room were well used, and the pool, spa and the view - well there are just not words in the English language to describe it - just a gut, raw emotion of happiness. We did a day of deep sea fishing as well as a day of snorkeling and trip down the coast to the Pitons with Captain Tom, both were fantastic. Thank you, for sharing the villa with us, it truly was a magical week. Between myself and my family members we have travelled all over the world, and stay routinely in 5 star properties or hotels. This was exceptional. I wish I every vacation could be like this one. Bravo.
What can I say to summarize our visit to Akasha other than “beyond incredible.” This was our second time to St. Lucia, but the first time bringing our children. Many of the hotels are adult only, so we opted to go the route of looking for a private villa that would accommodate our family. Akasha certainly accomplished that.
We had opted to try something different and take a helicopter transfer from the southern international airport to the northern airport only a few minutes from the house. When dealing with the booking for Akasha, the owner was very helpful in liasoning the transfer for us, and had ground transportation waiting for us on the other side.
The villa itself is beyond compare. Facing West on the northern tip of the island, you are able to watch unobstructed views of the sunset each night, which never got old. Even our kids stayed quiet as they watched in “aww”. The amenities in the home were fantastic, and everything you can think of needing is available. We made a big dinner one night to take advantage of the great kitchen, and had everything we needed from martini glasses to serving plates.
The kids were kept entertained between the media room and the pool, and the home is large enough to accommodate everyone for a vacation without feeling like you’re on top of one another by any stretch. The staff were always very friendly and helpful, and were great with the kids.
Far enough away to feel private and secluded, yet close enough to visit restaurants or shopping, the home is located in an ideal location. This villa made for a vacation that we aren’t soon to forget, and for that I highly recommend the property.
With its absolutely luxurious accommodation and its breathtaking view. it's hard not to love the Akasha villa. It provides you with a private and intimate location without completely isolating you from the happenings of St Lucia. waking up to the exquisite view has got to be one of my
Three beaches within easy access offer different settings - snorkeling, secluded and active so take your pick.
Cap Estate has the only 18 hole golf course on the island and is only 3 minutes away from the villa.
One of the National parks is right behind the villa and offers short hikes to the old fort at the top for views to Martinique.
There are three of the islands top restaurants within a few minutes drive.
Lots of bars and restaurants in Rodney Bay are approximately 10 minutes away.
The Rodney Bay Marina with its shops and bars is about 5 minutes away.
The Gros Islet 'Friday Jump Up' is about a 7 minute drive away.
Duty free shopping mall is about a 10 minute drive away.
Guests are advised to use our local taxi driver who is reliable and reasonable - use the local cell phone we provide to call him when you are out and about. This works out much more economical than a rental car. He also acts as your guide.
