Beautiful home in historic St. Augustine

  • 5 of 5

The Seafarer's Bungalow is a wonderful home within walking distance to many historic landmarks. The house is beautifully decorated with model sailboats and nautical antiques. The beds are very comfortable, the bath towels plush, and soaps and shampoo provided were of the highest quality. We were there when it was hot and the house was a cool oasis. The kitchen is modern with a wonderful drawer of spices for use when cooking in this gourmet environment. The screened front porch was perfect for being outside during the evening or early morning when there could be few insects around to bug you. The Blue Hen restaurant just a few blocks away and was a great find for lunch. The owners also provided a basket and binder full of visitor information to use while exploring St. Augustine. I definitely would come back to the Seafarer's Bungalow.

The property exceeded our expectations.

  • 5 of 5

The property exceeded our expectations. The home was located in the historic district of Saint Augustine. We were able to walk into town in about 10/15 minutes. The bungalows grounds were beautiful and we enjoyed sitting on the front porch and also under the umbrella in the back so private.

The home had everything we needed. It was decorated beautifully. We loved that it had Two bathrooms so my husband and I could get ready at the same time. Beds were comfortable.

If we come to Saint Augustine we would certainly rent again.

Absolutely lovely

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here for 4 days with another couple and really loved this place. The house is in the historic district with many other beautiful homes around it. It is close to downtown, you can walk if you like walking but might be a little far if not used to walking.

The owners have gone above and beyond to provide a beautiful place to stay. The decorating is in a nautical theme with exceptional detail. There are paintings and ships on the wall and the owners wrote down their history to provide extra information about the bungalow. There are two bedrooms with king size beds that were very comfortable and a day bead. The are two bathrooms with plenty of towels and basic toilet needs. The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of dishes and cook ware. The kitchen is large and very comfortable. We especially enjoyed eating breakfast on the front porch.

The owners are very thoughtful in providing beach towels and chairs for beach use. There is a lovely patio with table and umbrella to enjoy.

There is WIFI and it was easy to connect.

In the evening we were able to enjoy walking in the neighborhood and felt very safe.

I cannot explain how unique this bungalow is in the detail the owners put into decorating it. It is just lovely and so charming.

This is a beautiful house. We had a great time. We use this site often for our trips and certainly was not disappointed with this house. It is well stocked in the kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. Quality linens and beautifully furnished. Loads of history in the house. The patio outside back was a great place to end the day with a drink and conversation. Felt secluded even in the middle of everything. The trolley is about a 15 minute walk to the Distillery

And town is about a 5 minute drive. Located close to Flagler college. Only complaint was our trip was to short. The owners were great to work with and saw to every comfort!

This was the first time we booked a VRBO and we will do it again! The house was so cute and comfortable - just what we needed for the vacation we needed. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to relax in an inviting place.
