About the property

This house is built in the new urbanisation Las Filipinas / Villamartin, ideally located between 3 beautiful 18-whole golf courses. The white sandy beach is only 5 km from the house. 400 meter away you will find shops, pubs and restaurants. The next bigger city Torrevieja 10 km distance. The house is well furnished with pinewood. You will find air-condition cold-hot, Sat- TV, stereo and some books (only German). The American kitchen made of pinewood and marble is well equipped. Outside in the patio is a washing machine .On the terrace you will find some garden furniture and a little garden with flowers and bougainvilleas. On the first floor there is a master bedroom with a big bed ( 2 mattresses), air-condition and a balcony as well as a bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom has a tub and a shower.

Daytrips and Activities: Here is really everything possible! There are many kinds of water sports at the close sea. The walking ways at the sea are beautifully and very well developed with dream views. 3 golf courses are attainable in 5 minutes of drive. A tennis court, a Petanca course, a playground for your kids and a park is only 2 - 5 min by foot from the house! You can do hot air balloon flies in the City of Elche. Go-Kart drive for you and your kids with children karts - youth carts – adult carts - racing karts are 5 min drive by car. New: Quad - Excursions, the new super fun! You can find mini golf at different places. Then you have still the possibility for somewhat further trips, which are worthwhile themselves in any case! For example: Benidorm with the great theme park Terra Mitica and new Terra Natura, a mix between animal park and theme park. Water parks in different places, Safari park Rio Safari, palm park in Elche and so on, and so on... Many possibilities in our house map!

Restaurants and Pubs: This area entices you reliably to feasting! Here are innumerable restaurants with meals from all over the world. And the most beautiful is that some of them are even very cheap! For lunch ask for lunch - menu. You preferably get hors-d'œuvre, main plate, dessert or coffee and 1/2 ltr wine or a beverage from 4, 70 € on. There are in 500 meter distance many bars, restaurants, karaoke bars, pubs - some of them with life music.

Climate and healing climate: The southern Costa Blanca exhibits 360 sun days in the year. Even in the deep winter the average temperature is 18 degrees and one can eat at noon outside in the garden. In the winter it becomes only cool at nights, but our good air condition system heats every room in a few minutes. In the summer you can find nice shadow places in the garden. In the environment there are some salt lakes (Salinas). The high evaporation of the water of the Salinas creates a mikroclimate with mild winter temperatures. Long sunny days, rare rainfalls and pure air (there is no industry in the area) are the characteristics of this area. Lately, apart from the climatic therapy, the application of the over-concentrated water of the Salinas are world-well-known for the production of salt found large echo. The Salinas are mostly one meter deep and surrounded by a 20 km long coast.

The house is very well furnished with Spanish type of pinewood furniture. The sleeping room has a big bed with two good mattresses. The kitchen made of pinewood and marble is well equipped with many kitchen- accessories and electrical devices you need. Outside in the patio is a washing machine. On the terrace you will find some garden furniture and a little nice garden with flowers and bougainvilleas. On the first floor is a master bedroom with a big bed (2 mattresses), balcony, and a bedroom with two single beds. The second sleeping room has an extra TV with Nintendo64, two joypads and some games!

Nice house but in need of some TLC

We stayed in the property for four weeks (June 2016) so I believe we experienced more than just a holiday rental. The house was well equipped with almost everything you needed for a short stay. Because of the fact we stayed for the four weeks we noticed a few problems with the property. On arrival we were not met by the local agent, the key was left in a watering can outside. On entering the house we found both toilet seats were broken (replaced), the leather single chair was peeling so we had to purchase a cover as my mother (80 year old) was covered in bitts. The two seater sofa had gum and food and feather under the cushions and had not been cleaned. The shutter to the very small area at the rear was broken and only went up to about 1.5m (I am 1.9m and hit my head several times. The Garden area was overgrown and the large BBQ was leaning at an angle and was unsafe to use and the floor tiles had lifted about 5cm. The small BBQ was full of ash and so was the ash tray (we do not smoke). The house in generally had not been cleaned correctly. I informed the owner of these small problems (with pictures) in a private email to allow her to improve the service for her guests and agreed not to post negative feedback. On departure my wife cleaned the house from top to bottom and we set two appointment for the local agent to visit. He never arrived and then at 2030hrs on our last night while out for a meal he phoned to ask me to leave the key in the watering can. I was sent pictures by the owner of 5 to 10cm hair and a percentage of my deposit was not returned. My dog was a mini jack Russell with 5mm hair. I have cancelled the two future trip we have at this house as I would prefer to pay a bit more and get a bit better quality and because of the action of the owner I have decided to leave this feedback. I can back up everything I have written with pictures.

Alles wunderbar..

Wir haben die Wohnung zu dritt für eine Woche gemietet. Wir waren in allen Punkten mit der Ferienwohnung und der Lage zufrieden. Mit einem Auto erreicht man die schönen Strände in wenigen Minuten und auch sonst ist die Anbindung an Autobahn, Schnellstraße und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten ausgezeichnet. Auch die Ausstattung bietet alles, was bei einem Ferienaufenthalt notwendig ist, so dass die Ferienwohnung guten Gewissens weiterzuempfehlen ist.

Genieten van het verblijf

Ik heb hier 10 heerlijke weken gehad. Het huis is basic en heeft wat aandacht nodig maar verder is er alles wat je nodig hebt. De tuin heeft in de winter de ochtend zon tot vroeg in de middag en is helemaal afgezet zodat de hond niet weg kan. De service is perfect, als je iets mist of kapot is wordt het meteen geregeld. Top locatie...grote supermarkt op loopafstand en groot winkelcentrum op weg naar het strand, ongeveer 10 minuten met de auto. Super tijd gehad in dit huis 👍

nette Haushälfte in spanischer Bauweise

Die Ausstattungsgegenstände und die Unterkunft sind so langsam in die Jahre gekommen. Es gibt Mängel, die die Benutzung nicht beeinträchtigen, aber sofort ins Auge springen. Den Verwalter Vorort haben wir nicht zu Gesicht bekommen. Die Übergabe und Abnahme erfolgte per Telefonat, bzw. WhatsApp. Die Unterkunft ist mit allem ausgestattet was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Wer allerdings ein scharfes Messer benötigt, sollte sich eins mitbringen oder kaufen.

Die Nachbarn sind überwiegend Engländer und dementsprechend ist auch die Mehrheit der gastronomischen Einrichtungen in der näheren Umgebung darauf eingestellt. Es gibt natürlich auch andere. Die Bar Establo z.B. ist auf deutschsprachige Kundschaft eingerichtet. Zu empfehlen sind die Steaks, sehr lecker.

Ein absolutes Muss ist ein Auto. Zum Strand benötigt man ca. 15 min. Neben der Cala Mosca befindet sich eine kleine Bucht die sehr zu empfehlen ist. Es handelt sich dabei um einen Hundestrand der aber auch von nicht Hundebesitzern gerne benutzt wird.

Der angepriesene Pool in der dahinter liegenden Anlage ist nur zum Verweilen von Menschen eingerichtet. Hunde haben auf dem Areal nichts zu suchen. Eigentlich schade, da es sehr viele Hundebesitzer gibt. Also muss man zum Strand fahren, wenn der Hund nicht alleine bleiben soll.

Fazit: Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis der Unterkunft war sehr gut. dafür kann man auch einige Abstriche in Kauf nehmen.

Our house is located 10 km south from Torrevieja, in the new urbanisation Las Filippinas II, next to Villamartin. That is between 3 great 18 whole golf courses. There are different cities easy to reach and you will find a selected range of restaurants and bars. The journey to or from the airport of Alicante takes about 40 minutes time. The splendid beaches of La Zenia, Campoamor and Cabo Roig are approximately 5 minutes from Las Filippinas. Cabo Roig has the most beautiful broad fine sandy beaches and romantic bays - ideally for children. The beaches are distinguished with the blue EEC flag for cleanliness and with playgrounds, beach restaurants, medics and WCs equipped. There is also a beautiful walking way at the sea along. At the coast are numerous pictoral bays and beautiful sand beaches that can be attained also fast. Everyone has its special flair. Try out simply times! The environment offers many possibilities for maintenance and Shopping. In my house map you find many ideas.

Golf: Desire on Golf? Here is a true Paradise for golfers! 3 beautiful 18-hole-golf courses can be attained in 5 minutes (3 to 5 km) from the house. You can book a teacher at any time or you practice alone on the driving range. You have the choice between 3 golf courses. 'Las Ramblas' (18 holes/Par 72) is 3 m from the house. 'Campoamor' (18 holes/Par 72) 5 km from the house and 'Villamartin' (18 holes/Par 72), 5 km from us, is probably one of the best known Golf Courses in the Southern Costa Blanca.
