Pet dogs may stay inside the cottage with their owners. Pet dogs may stay with prior approval of the property owner. This vacation home has large, fenced areas to exercise pet dogs on our large, wooded property.
There is plenty of private parking on the property that includes space for recreational vehicles.
You can use the roomy front deck for outside dining, barbecuing, star-gazing, bird-watching, and waving to friendly neighbors who are taking their daily strolls or riding their bicycles. Our trees house many birds, and capture the sounds of beautiful, mountain breezes. You may be visited by our animal neighbors that include turkeys, raccoons, deer, bobcats, and foxes.
This is a great getaway cottage where you can relax and feel that you are really on vacation!
Thank you so much for allowing me and my friends to stay at your Julian cottage. We were overwhelmed when we saw the place. It was so perfect and enchanting. You have a beautiful home, and we are so thankful we found you. I will be recommending you anytime someone is planning another Julian trip.
I stayed here on a cold weekend with my husband, baby, toddler, and a few friends. I loved the feel of the place! The cottage was very clean, and had everything we needed and more! I was thrilled to find that any supply I could need was there, and I was able to cook and bake. We even baked some of the delicious little yellow apples from the tree out front. (I would even go back just for those apples, they were so good). The wood stove was easy to use, safe, and brought an extra coziness to the house. The bed in the bedroom was comfortable and had a beautiful quilt and pillow shams. I took a photo of my baby sitting on the bed with the light coming in through the windows it turned out gorgeous. We loved our stay and will definitely come again!
It looks just like it does in the picture. Cute, hidden away just enough, yet very close to downtown (under 2 miles). The fenced-in yard was perfect for our two dogs. It's not fancy, which makes it all the more comfortable when traveling with kids and dogs. We would stay here again.
I had a great time with my dogs! Nada was very available via phone and email if I needed anything. Perfect little getaway! I do agree, however, with a lot of the other reviewers that the TV is a little small, especially since it is placed so far away from the futon couches. Other than that, the place is great! I had a lovely time.
My wife and I had a wonderful stay in this charming cottage. Clean and cozy with all the amenities. Our dog enjoyed himself as well! Truly pet friendly. We were so comfortable, we were tempted to stay in! But we did enjoy a neighborhood walk, and the close proximity to the main part of Julian and the treats we enjoyed there, made for a relaxing break that we will want to repeat soon!
This tiny ramshackle house is a nightmare fire hazard to pets and children!! It has no fire escape in bedroom, and the pot bellied stove sits right next to children's futon beds, with no heat shield at all!! Dirt Driveway is not wide enough for truck, and it is advertised for motorhome use. The house smells very bad of Pets and mold. Kitchen is dirty with no space and tiny stove and oven.
DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY, OR RISK BURNING PETS AND CHILDREN!!
I'M TAKING LANDLORD TO COURT, SHE WON'T REFUND MY MONIES
The cabin is a great getaway with more amenities than 90% of places I have stayed. The heaters work well and you have everything you need to be comfortable for extended stays.
