Spring skiing at Vail! Best value in the Vail Village, one parking spot included! 2 bed 2 bath unit with full kitchen. Just an 8 minute walk (4 on a powder day) to Gondola One. Friday to Friday stay. April 5th-April 12th, and or Friday April 12th-Friday April 19th. These units are in The Apollo Park and located in the Vail Village just a few blocks from the Village 2024. One bedroom has a queen and private bathroom. The other bedroom has a pull-out trundle bed, twin size beds. The living room has a pull-out bed couch so unit will sleep six but it’s tight. The “hot” pool is a great spot to après-ski. Relax, meet new friends and then stroll just a few blocks to the village for dinner then back to the “hot” pool. Pool temp ranges around 100 degrees.
What’s great about staying at The Apollo Park is certainly the location and value. Once parked there is no need to leave unless you want to go grocery shopping or the liquor store. The bus stop is just a block away so it’s easy to catch a bus to Beaver Creek also, or any other part of the valley. Having dinner in the Village with friends is great as no one is carpooling. Being in the Village when the interstate closes due to snow is a glorious thing! In 2023, I-70 closed in both directions after 12”-16” of Champaign powder fell so no skiers could drive to the mountain and it was just me and a handful of lucky villagers out for an amazing powder day!
Vail is my go-to mountain. I’ve skied some great places over my 50 plus years of making turns, Zermatt, Alta, Banff, Breck to name a few and I find Vail, the Vail Village and the Vail Valley to be a great place to stay, eat and drink. Cheers!
