Why Owner/Manager chose Wilson

The Aspens is a great neighborhood for a vacation. Quiet streets and wooded lots, with occasional wildlife sightings in the neighborhood (moose in the back yard!) Just a few minutes walk to tennis courts, athletic club and swimming pool, and the deli/grocery and wine store. About a 5 minute drive to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for skiing or summer activities. The West Bank bike trail goes right past the neighborhood; we often ride bikes don to Wilson or to the Mountain Resort in the summer, to enjoy a free concert or ride the tram or gondola.

What makes this house unique

The home is in a lovely setting, with a private sunny yard and deck. The home is large, light and tastefully redecorated. Plenty of room for 1 -2 families.

We enjoyed our rental in Wilson, WY. The house was spacious and thoughtfully appointed. It was very conveniently located to Jackson and to the Grand Teton National Park. If you are looking for more room and privacy than you would typically get in the Teton Village this is a great option. Our family of 6 (with 4 children) were able to spread out in this relatively large home. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking if that is your thing and the wrap around deck is a great place to rest and catch some sun. The only knock on the house is that they really could update the bathrooms. They are very clean and everything was in good working order, but it is an obvious place for improvement in an otherwise great house. Apex was a pleasure to deal with and communicated via email very effectively.

Overall, the house exceeded my expectations. The house is very nice. A few notes:

- The master bedroom is huge. My dad jokingly said that he got lost in the bedroom.

- The kitchen is very nice with nice appliances and a huge island that makes the kitchen quite usable.

- The dining room table is very big. 10 of us comfortably sat at the dining room table.

- The house has four bedrooms. Each bedroom sleeps two. One of the bedrooms has a trundle bed for the second person. That is a total of eight people in bedrooms. The remaining four beds are in an open space upstairs. That space feels like an upstairs family room. These four beds comprise two twin beds with two trundles. So the house is not really set up for six couples. It is set up for three couples with six children. And four of the

- I read a couple reviews about the mattresses being uncomfortable. I did not find the mattresses uncomfortable but my wife thought the mattress was uncomfortable. My parents slept in the master bedroom and liked their bed. I did not hear complaints from anyone else sleeping at the house.

- The hot tub was nice. We used it a few times.

- The neighborhood was nice. It is a very quiet neighborhood but close to everywhere we wanted to go.

- I don’t know if we were supposed to use the bikes in the garage but we did. And it was really nice. We took a great bike ride around the neighborhood.

- Communication from the rental company was great.

There were a few minor issues; e.g., the blinds in one bedroom did not work, the windows in another bedroom did not open, one of the kitchen light switches did not work, and a plug in the master bedroom did not work. But these were minor issues for us. The overall quality of the house was great.

I would recommend the house to a friend or relative and I would return to the house in the future.

This home is in the desirable Aspens Subdivision, just minutes from the base of Jackson Hole Ski area in Teton Village. Close to all of the shopping, dinning, spas and ski shops of Teton Village without the traffic of tourism lodging in Teton Village. Streams, big views and natural forest surrounds the neighborhood and is home to a host of wildlife including Moose, Mule Deer, and Elk. The views from this area are 180degrees of the Gros Ventre Mountains, The Valley and the slopes of the Jackson Hole Ski area and the National Parks lands in boaders.

The Aspens Subdivision is 4 miles from Teton Village and 5 miles from Town of Jackson. This location lends itself to being able to take advantage of all the area has to offer without being in the noise and hustle and bustle of Town or Village. The home is also 5.5 miles from the Southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park, and the access road ( Mosse To Village rd) is a great place to view bears in the fall and Elk anytime of the year.
