Why Owner/Manager chose Jackson Hole area

The Aspens is a great neighborhood for a vacation. Quiet streets and wooded lots, with occasional wildlife sightings in the neighborhood (moose in the back yard!) Just a few minutes walk to tennis courts, athletic club and swimming pool, and the deli/grocery and wine store. About a 5 minute drive to the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort for skiing or summer activities. The West Bank bike trail goes right past the neighborhood; we often ride bikes don to Wilson or to the Mountain Resort in the summer, to enjoy a free concert or ride the tram or gondola.

What makes this house unique

The home is in a lovely setting, with a private sunny yard and deck. The home is large, light and tastefully redecorated. Plenty of room for 1 -2 families.

We very much enjoyed our time at the house in Wilson. The location was perfect, and surroundings were amazing! We were even greeted by four moose in the yard on our first morning there! The bicycles and extra fishing poles were a nice surprise! The only feedback we would offer would be that we were somewhat disappointed in the home entertainment options. The Sonos system was great, but the lack of functioning DVD players made it difficult for us to keep our young children entertained while we were there in the morning and at night time. Also, the queen size bed's we're both fairly uncomfortable. All in all however, we loved the location and the house. I wouldn't be opposed to renting the same unit again. I would love to see the upgrades we mentioned above.

Our family of 5 rented this lovely house as our home base for 9 days while we experienced Jackson Hole and the National Parks. This house is by far the best equipped and most comfortable house we have ever rented in 30 years of vacationing. The kitchen is well stocked with pots and cooking utensils, as well as enough dishes and silverware to feed a large family. The mattresses all comfortable prepared for us upon arrival. Apex was responsive to our TV cable issue and fixed it within 24 hrs. We also greatly appreciated the 4 adult bicycles provided to cruise around the neighborhood and quick runs to the market. Great first trip to WY !

Hot tub mess

Our family has stayed in many vacation homes, this one was ok. The location was great and the yard was great for the kids. Our over all stay was good. We felt like there were so many unnecessary little rules.

I don't know if some of these issues are becoming standard in the rental world but they were new to us. Upon arriving the home was stuffy and didn't smell fresh. The bathrooms need updating. There is only one roll paper towel given, felt it was chincy, no dishcloths, we used wash cloths which were too big. The hot tub was murky and gross. Property mgmt told us it was on a regular maintenance schedule, but called them. Maintenance came the next day and agreed with me. They drained it etc. we lost 1 1/2 days of using it. One of the reasons for getting this home was because of the hot tub. We realize sometimes things get overlooked, It seems like a hot tub should be checked after each guest.The floors were not clean, vacuumed yes. If you walk on them with a pair of socks they are dirty. I am guessing they don't wipe them very good or at all after each guest. There weren't a full set of glasses for 12 people. Only 4 plastic tumblers, a bunch of coffee mugs, 4 shorter glasses. I felt like there should have been at least a decent set of tall glasses. Not just one but a few of the reviews mentioned how clean it was which gave me higher expectations only to be disappointed. Property management was very nice. We liked the lock box. It was nice NOT to have to go to a front desk to check in or out.

This home is in the desirable Aspens Subdivision, just minutes from the base of Jackson Hole Ski area in Teton Village. Close to all of the shopping, dinning, spas and ski shops of Teton Village without the traffic of tourism lodging in Teton Village. Streams, big views and natural forest surrounds the neighborhood and is home to a host of wildlife including Moose, Mule Deer, and Elk. The views from this area are 180degrees of the Gros Ventre Mountains, The Valley and the slopes of the Jackson Hole Ski area and the National Parks lands in boaders.

The Aspens Subdivision is 4 miles from Teton Village and 5 miles from Town of Jackson. This location lends itself to being able to take advantage of all the area has to offer without being in the noise and hustle and bustle of Town or Village. The home is also 5.5 miles from the Southern entrance to Grand Teton National Park, and the access road ( Mosse To Village rd) is a great place to view bears in the fall and Elk anytime of the year.
