Infinity Ridge! GREAT Views, near Chimney Rock Park
average rating of 5.0 based on 39 reviews

This property was absolutely stunning! As mentioned in other reviews, the pictures do not do this property justice. All supplies needed were already in the cabin & was super clean. The views and the hike my family made to the waterfall was a great memorable experience. The communication with the owner was outstanding! Prompt replies were made to emails and all texts. Unfortunately, Chimney Rock was closed during our visit due to work being performed on the platform, but was still a fun visit to downtown Chimney Rock. As also mentioned in other reviews, it's best to arrive before dark due to the winding hairpin turns & narrow road to the cabin. Can't say enough about this property, other than, we wish we were there right now!!

Amazing Weekend Retreat!

  • 5 of 5

My wife, 7 month old and myself came up for an escape from our home in Charleston and could not have been more pleased! The house was beautiful... the views were out of this world. Pictures do not do this home justice. Very secluded ( definitely recommend arriving during daylight hours). Home is well furnished and very comfortable. We could have spent the entire trip sitting on the porch taking in the views. We are excited to come back (planning on a weekend in November!)

Exceeded Expectations!

  • 5 of 5

This vacation home exceeded all of our expectations! The photos can't possibly do the house or the view justice.

The listing description is accurate. The home is comfortable, neat, clean and well- maintained. The owners responded promptly to all of my inquiries regarding the property.

This home is "off the beaten path" which adds to its charm. Just make sure you arrive before dark!

Prior to our arrival we enjoyed a falconry excursion led by Jeff Curtis of Curtis Wright Outfitters in Weaverville, NC, less than an hour from this home. We had a fantastic day of hiking at Chimney Rock State Park and enjoyed hiking down to the waterfall on the property. The back porch with that amazing view is the best feature of the house. We sipped coffee in the morning and wine at night, sitting in the rocking chairs, just watching that view.

We cooked meals in and found the kitchen to be well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc.

I look forward to renting this home in the future!

Comfortable, Relaxing and Well Kept

  • 5 of 5

This beautiful home was perfect for two middle aged couples to relax and catch up while enjoying the awesome mountain view on the porch. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had every thing we needed for cooking breakfasts and grilling dinner. The living room is very nicely furnished and the whole house evokes a nice welcoming atmosphere. My only regret is choosing to hike to the waterfall- the path is EXTREMELY STEEP. I would not have made it without the walking sticks provided. The calming, running water sound you hear from the porch is much more enjoyable than the actual site once you risk walking to see it. Just relax and enjoy this beautiful property, and take less dangerous hikes around the base of Chimney Rock, located about 15 minutes down the road. You will not regret choosing "Serenity Ridge" for you mountain getaway.

Literally a "home away"

  • 5 of 5

Second time around for us! Just as great as the first. Feels like it's our own home, not a rental property. Very cozy, just the right size for our family (2 kids, 2 adults). **Truly excellent views.** Those pics are not photoshopped or creatively angled. What you see is really what you get! The place is always spotless, too. Stayed out on the porch until dark came just to see the mountains each night! The kids love it, we love it. If we could go again tomorrow we would. Great area: close to waterfalls, town, grocery stores, BR parkway, etc., but cabin is in the middle of the woods and totally private once you arrive. Perfect! Has all the cooking utensils, linens, etc., that one could wish for, too!

My only complaint (and it's really paltry): the first time we went (3 years ago) the washing machine worked fine. This time, it took forever to fill and we couldn't do but one load of our laundry while we were there. For what it's worth, the same thing happened in our next cabin 60 miles away, so it may have been a problem that's out of the owners' hands.

Thanks to Li for handling our rental quickly and professionally! We can't wait to stay again.

Love this Place!!

  • 5 of 5

Loved our stay!! The cabin is comfy and spotless. The views are beautiful, we spent A LOT of time on the porch relaxing. We did have a bear trying to raid the trash, so definitely don't leave any food out. Booking was easy and owners responded to emails quickly. I would definitely love to stay there again!

Guestbook comments from the owner

We loved the cabin and had a great time! My mother-in-law is 93 and she absolutely loved the scenery, the house, everything! We hope to come back sometimes. :-)

P.S. The bear knocked over the garbage can last night, but we didn't hear or see him! :-)
