Barnegat Bay at your feet and the Atlantic Ocean at your whim is what we offer and more!
This premier property has all the amenities one could expect in a luxury home. It offers panoramic views from every room in the house and unobstructed views from the deck/dock as well.
Downstairs was designed with an open floor plan: dining room (gas fireplace), outfitted kitchen (Keurig, Cuisinart, etc.), living room (55' screen, DVD, Blu-Ray), 1/2 bath, and laundry room (exit to outdoor shower).
We tactfully put the sleeping quarters upstairs: master bedroom
(king-sized bed and ensuite bathroom), guest bedroom (king-sized bed), 3rd and 4th bedrooms (filled with all kinds of single beds and a full-sized futon). The hall bathroom (jacuzzi) services the guest, 3rd and 4th bedrooms.
All-cotton linens are provided as well as bath towels, beach towels, paper products, condiments, etc. (for your use at no extra charge-compliments of the owner). FIOS is at your fingertips as our new carrier.
For outdoor activities we provide bicycles, tennis racquets, boogey boards, inner tubes, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach cart, cooler, and if we forgot anything please let us know!
Deck chairs, loungers, Weber grill, crab traps/lines, and more
make relaxing outdoors superb. (The sunsets are included.)
Oh, don't forget to bring the Marguerita mix!
My mother and I joined my brother and his wife at this house the week before Memorial Day. This was the most relaxing week I've had in years, literally! I would recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for a peaceful spot that is still accessible to, well, everything!
The house itself was gorgeous and extremely spacious. It was very tastefully decorated and seemed to be very well maintained. I loved that the whole back of the house on the main floor was all windows with sweeping views of the deck and the water.
The bedrooms were all very roomy and cozy. My brother and his wife stayed in the master bedroom with attached bath, while my mother and I shared the 2nd larger bedroom. LOVED the king-sized bed, which was perfect for me, mom and our puppy! If you have kids along, they would love the other bedroom with 2 single beds, and and attached, carpeted nook with bunks, PC w/ FIOS wifi and futon. We found another cot in a desk cabinet downstairs, so LOTS of bed space! Loved the upstairs hallway bath, too... whirlpool tub, lots of lighting in the room AND in shower/tub area, fan, and heat! We totally appreciated that Debbie, the owner, provided bath and beach towels and linens(although we brought our own sheets).
The dining room area was lovely and we spent time doing jigsaw puzzles on the table. The kitchen area was well-appointed with modern appliances and island seating. The fridge held a MUCH-APPRECIATED tasty treat left by Debbie - THANKS!! The garage attached to that side of the house was filled with all kinds of toys and beach chairs etc.
We spent a good bit of time out on the deck where there were plenty of chairs and loungers. The entire back deck area is blocked off by privacy fences and gates, which was perfect, since we brought our dogs! They loved hanging out on the deck and watching the birds and the activity on the bay. We also had a swan that visited every day, and brought its mate and 7 babies on our last day! Beware - swans will hiss if your dog gets too close!
The location on the cul-de-sac was private, quiet, and supremely peaceful, yet accessible to activity and dining options. Point Pleasant Beach was an easy drive 15min. or so North, and Seaside Heights is a mere 10min. south. Favorite meals were at Spano's on Arnold Ave. in Point Pleasant Beach and Captain Ed's Place in Point Pleasant(steak-on-a-stone is a MUST!). SO glad my sister-in-law found this vacation house for us to visit!
This was our 2nd vacation in this gorgeous home on Barnegat Bay and we are so spoiled by the beauty, luxury, spaciousness, and amenities (all linens, every kitchen appliance/gadget/spice one could need, wifi, fios, beach gear, bikes, sunblock, bug spray, and even a cool chess/checkers table). We 'lived' on the deck from sunrise to sunset, explored the nooks and crannies of the island on foot, bike and in kayak, rode the smooth new bike lanes along Rte 35 N and S, played bocce ball at public courts on Bay Ave in Lavallette, enjoyed beach on bay as well as ocean. We poked around stores in Lavallette and Ocean Beach. Discovered Shore Fresh in Pt. Pleasant for delicious clam chowder, shrimp, and the best lobster rolls ever. Labrador Lounge (1.2 miles away!) was excellent, too. WaWa is even closer; we went there daily for newspaper, lottery tickets, freshly baked rolls and such. Went to Jerry's Farm Stand in Ortley Beach for corn-on-the cob and the new ACME supermarket is very nice. To top it all off, we were blessed with wonderful treats from Delicious Orchards, courtesy of homeowner Debbie.
My family stayed here while attending a family reunion at the Jersey Shore in June 2016. The house has everything you could want or need for your stay. It was "the house to meet at" for our late afternoon family get-togethers & dinners. Everyone loved watching the sunset from the back deck, watching the boats go by, & listening to the sound of the bay water. The back deck is spacious, with lots of comfortable seating & 2 large tables for eating. And many family members went crabbing off the dock! Some even rode the bikes around the neighborhood (we don't get the opportunity to bike ride often where we live). The kitchen has everything you could need to prep meals & drinks. Debbie, the owner, has done everything to make your stay comfortable & fun. She even dropped off some delicious baked goods for us to enjoy! It was the perfect house for us.
Spectacular view greets you as you open the door to this well-equipped, clean bay front home. Great, convenient location in a pleasant neighborhood. The view is only exceeded by the owner Debbie's hospitality and thoughtfulness. We've already booked our next stay!
Very comfortable waterfront home. We appreciated how clean and comfortable everything was. Close to boardwalks, lighthouse, wonderful aquarium, great four days to get away!
Lovely home, views can't be beat. Owner was very sweet and accommodating, even left a birthday card, flowers and bottle of wine for the birthday girl. Would highly recommend.
Ideally located between New York City, Philadelphia, and Atlantic City, Chadwick Beach Island has an idyllic setting that offers the serenity of calming waters, floating swans, and majestic sunsets. Yet, big city excitement lies within arm's reach.
We were able to choose this one-of-a-kind location 30 years ago and continue to enjoy/offer it to others for the same memorable experiences. Attention to detail is what we provide on the inside and let Mother Nature flaunt her beauty on the outside. The property itself juts into the Barnegat Bay allowing for unobstructed views from every window. Sounds of seagulls, gentle lapping waves, and greetings from occasional boaters fill the air. The breezes are soft and scented from the bay on the West or the ocean on the East. Close your eyes and picture Paradise before you. That is what we offer as the Keurig brews your favorite cup of hazelnut coffee or refreshing glass of iced tea. Immerse yourself into one of the provided novels and escape for at least the morning in anticipation of catching abundant crabs in the afternoon.
The sun is now peeking through the trees and preparing to set as you gather the ingredients for your traditional Tom Collins, fine wine, or blended MaiTai. All this is offered from the tranquility of our location. Perhaps you opt to take a bicycle ride to the ocean where the provided racks allow you for a stroll on the pure white beach. Surfers' silhouettes, soaring kites, and boardwalk lights in the distance are commonplace. Absorb the sea's salt water aroma and hear the rhythmic pulse of the waves as the infinite grains of sand seep between your toes. A gentle sea spray engulfs as you head back to your oasis. Perhaps a card game, puzzle, or movie is your fancy while nighttime falls and stars play hide and seek. In the distance you view the elusive fireworks and anticipate the next round as their vibrant colors dot the landscape. After the exhiliarating day you lull yourself to sleep in the comfort of clean cotton sheets and lightweight duvets.
If you can tear yourself away, Point Pleasant Beach to the North with its boardwalk, rides, and ample restaurants awaits or you may decide to embark on its full/half day fishing trips! Homemade ice cream (Hoffman's), Italian specialties (Joe Leones), or good old-fashioned french fries (Chippy's) makes the trek worthwhile.
To the South lies the natural and protected Island Beach State Park (always a favorite for fishing, birdwatching, picnicking, etc., etc., etc.)
For the real adventure-seeker head North to New York City or South to Atlantic City where the action has no boundaries! Whatever your desire, the serenity of this home (and its perfect location) awaits as you prepare for a most relaxing and memorable time of your life!
