Thank you for letting us stay in your cottage. From the moment we stepped in the living room we felt the good atmosphere. We sure enjoyed the BBQ, the lovely and powerful shower (yes). We used the trails often for a run or bike tour. Nice little town for rest and peace. The tree was giving us a show and all the critters that live in there; salamanders, caterpillars and a couple of spiders, birds, heron, butterflyand more. Great for me becuse I was trying to mmake picture of small animals that posed for me and helped me get better in making good pictures. GREAT PLACE and perfect weather. Thanks again and maybe till next time.
All the best,

We absolutely fell in love with this place. The scenery was beautiful, the cottage had the cozy feel we wanted, and the owners were very accomodating. It was a wonderful trip and we can't wait to come back.
This was my family's first experience using VRBO homes and Chris Dudley's Cypress Lake House. For many years, we have only used hotels and resorts. So, after looking for over three days to find something of interest, we chose the Cypress Lake House. To our surprise, we were blown away. The house was everything and more by offering a fully stocked home (including all those things you always forget going on vacations). When the description states to only bring your food, clothes, and yourself, this home lives up to the statement. Additionally, the items were not wore out junk. I could go on and on but you will have to experience for yourself. In closing, the icing on top of the cake was the hospitality from Chris Dudley in making sure your stay is a pleasant one. So, if your looking for a laid back place to go and do some fishing or just relax, this would be highly recommended to try out.
A very cozy, rustic cottage with a great deck and view of the lake. It had everything needed right down to cooking oil, spices, storage containers & wraps, paper towels, toilet paper, linens, towels, laundry room with all supplies. It was conveniently located to Floral City and the Withlacoochie Walking/Bicycle Trail which was great for us since we came to cycle. The trail was in easy cycling or walking distance from the cottage. Floral City had a wonderful bicycle shop, motorcycle shop, art gallery, library, heritage center, 2 fresh fruit markets, and a great little pub, the Shamrock Inn. Inverness was only 7 miles away by auto on the road or bicycle on the trail and had a cute downtown with lots of restaurants and beautiful park by the water. A very pleasant stay, except Florida could have blessed us with a little better weather, but that is always a chance you take.
We had a wonderful time at this cottage on the lake. The house was warm and comfortable and the view from the deck was Fantastic a great place to have your morning coffee or sunset cocktail. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a great get away.
Great little cabin in the middle of nowhere but not far from anything, my children enjoyed all the fishing and frog and birds and everything that the cabin had to offer
Our family spent Christmas in the Cypress Cottage. We had such a wonderful time! The cottage is filled with so much history and detail. It was well stocked and was everything we wanted it to be. We hiked, took the boats out on the lake, and fished. We enjoyed sitting together on the deck enjoying the view and sharing laughter. Our family loves this cottage and look forward to making more memories there! Thanks Chris
