House, 2 Bedrooms, 1 Bath, (Sleeps 6)
I've got my feet on the ground, my head in the clouds. Life at high altitude is good, though dizzying! In my spare time, I like to bike, hike, Nordic and alpine ski, cook and have a drink with friends. I escape to warmer climes in spring to be on the water, cobble together a living the rest of the year. I love to explore new places, but am glad to come home at the end of the journey!
Susan purchased this Cabin in 2006
Why Susan chose Crested Butte
Crested Butte is a charming Victorian mining town with a funky, friendly feel. I love the fabric of everyday life, the neighborliness of a small town, the open-mindedness of a progressive western city. Crested Buttians are mindful of their roots, but aren't slaves to the past. Welcome mountain bikers and all outdoor enthusiasts!
What makes this Cabin unique
I love to walk or bike to do all my errands around town, to be close to the center of all the action, yet be on the quiet side of town to escape. Crested Butte is infinitely cool, there's always something going on, there's a lot to see and do, or you can just be quiet in the pretty yard. Steps from the ski shuttle, trails, or shopping, this little house has something for everyone.

Feels like home
Susan was an amazing host and checked in on us to make sure our stay was the best. Loved the cabin! It felt cozy and comfortable. It’s also has a great layout for families and has everything you need to feel at home. Thank you for the stay!
We had a great time at this cabin. It is very cozy and nice. The beds were very good and comfortable. I was surprised how close we were to Elk Street and the restaurants and shuttle bus. We would come back in a hurry!
Fun cabin for family getaway
We loved this cute cabin. It had everything we needed for our stay. Just two blocks from town and the bus. Awesome place!
Charming cottage full of character
If you love old properties full of charm and a few quirks, this is a winner. An added bonus is the immediate proximity to downtown for an easy walk to restaurants as well as the town's wonderful bus out to the mountain. I felt totally at home in this cottage and will definitely look to stay here on future jaunts to Crested Butte.
Charming cabin with great access
The cabin was the perfect place to stay in CB. Access to downtown was two blocks away, getting to the mountain was a 10 minutes. Really appreciated the small touches that Susan left, including local coffee, local soaps for the shower - this is the sort of thing that is not expected but made our stay. Full kitchen with the basics, 4 beds, this place rocks! Also, Susan was a great host, she stayed up until midnight to make sure we made it over Monarch Pass safely and got into the cabin. Highly recommend.
