Immaculately clean, beautiful property. Everything is modern and efficient and well taken care of. Our party included two adult children and their families as well as two grandparents; 12 in all. We had plenty of space for our group and didn't feel crowded at all. One couple stayed in the basement bedroom next to the family room. The grandparents stayed in the first floor bedroom conveniently located across the hall from the bathroom. The other couple stayed in the upstairs master bedroom with the kids sharing the other two upstairs rooms. The kitchen is beautiful and had everything we needed. The table is huge and seats 8 easily. Adjacent to the table were stools, so seating for meals for all 12 of us was not a problem. The living room windows allow such beautiful views of the lake while relaxing on the furniture or while eating in the dining room or kitchen. However, we enjoyed most meals out on the deck. Having two patio tables and chairs was perfect for our large group. The pontoon boat was the icing on the cake. "Grandpa" was in his glory all week as he pulled the grandkids on tubes. We brought our own kayaks and really enjoyed paddling all around the area in front of the house and up under the bridge to where the lake narrows. Swans had homes there and it was especially enjoyable to watch them as we paddled by. There is a barrier of sorts where the backyard meets the lake - no sandy area. We enjoyed fishing right off the edge. The kids did some swimming off the boat dock. There were large turtles that made the fishing difficult, but not the swimming. This home is perfectly situated at the top of the lake, so there isn't much boat traffic - perfect for young kids in kayaks or on tubes! We are planning a second trip this summer and can't wait to stay here again. Highly recommended!
