About Vacasa, OR - Mt Hood / Hood River Office

Thanks for considering a Vacasa home! We provide full-service management for privately owned vacation homes, and like to think that we offer our guests the best of both worlds: the unique experience of staying in a one-of-a-kind vacation home, with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that the home you book for your special vacation is cared for by professional housekeepers and property managers.

Vacasa began in 2009, simply because our founder and CEO Eric wanted to find a better way to share his wife’s family’s summer home in Long Beach, Washington with guests as a vacation rental. Eric and his early team worked to build Vacasa on the premise that local employees can do what they love most (taking care of guests, homeowners, and properties), while the hands-off tasks of vacation rental management—things like marketing, filing taxes, and maintaining a website—could be handled by a specialized central support team.

Our passion is connecting travelers with the unique experience of staying in a vacation home, and we would be honored to be your host. Please contact us with any questions about this home—our team is standing by!

Very cozy, great for a group

 • 4 of 5

The house was very warm & cozy, the huge couch in the living room and open floor plan downstairs made for a great atmosphere for our reunion weekend. The hot tub is close to the house which is also very nice. The house has a strong musty smell but you get used to it. Easy to find & great location. Overall, highly recommend!

Relaxation station.

 • 5 of 5

My boyfriend and I stayed in the cabin with our dog for a week. Loved that it was 5 minutes from an entrance to National Forest, 20 minutes from Timberline Lodge, and 20 minutes from Trillium lake. Great location. Really enjoyed watching the squirrels and birds in the backyard while relaxing in the hot tub. Had most everything we needed, kitchen was a little sparsely stocked. No measuring cups? The pots and pans (minus 1 set) need to be replaced but otherwise all was lovely. Would stay again.

Lovely cabin, right not to green canyon.

 • 5 of 5

The cabin was about 5 minutes down the road from the entrance to the national forest. The entire area is BEAUTIFUL. So much wildlife, even in the backyard. Loved it :)

The cabin in in between 2 roads which initially seemed like a downfall but there was next to no traffic noise so it wasn't an issue for us. Loved the hot tub, the town was great when we needed anything, and we will be coming back :)

Great Mountain Getaway

 • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed staying at this cabin, it worked out perfectly for 3 couples with a couple kids and dogs thrown in the mix. The location was great for hanging out at the resort, and we found the house to be in great shape with plenty of room.
