Ideal for families gathering from across the country and for vacations with many generations, Aurora Seabreeze will delight the young and old alike. As a single story house, it’s perfect for grandparents (and your pets are welcome, too).

Located on the island of Venice with a heated pool and tile floors. Only 5 block walk to the beach. Near Sharky's and the Venice Pier. Our Aurora Seabreeze house sleeps 10 people AND, we've just added an LCD TV and wi-fi Internet.

Stocked with new additions, you have a new heated pool outdoors, and a new LCD TV and tiled floors within. Just five blocks to the beach, it’s a short walk to both the shore and to Sharky’s restaurant and Venice Pier.

The home’s three bedrooms and two baths accommodate groups of up to ten. Ample seating is found both around the pool and patio, as well as in the comfy living room. Your time together will be maximized and your privacy is assured. A fenced backyard rings a huge, private pool. Gorgeous landscaping and grown trees provide lots of shady outdoor seating. This large backyard is grassed for playing, with a great many atmospheric palm trees. Watch your children or pets play from the screened deck if you prefer. A square patio table invites you to bring your meals outside.

When not swimming or engaged in Marco Polo, the pool’s corner stairs and built-in seating ledge are perfect places to read a book while staying cool. The pool is heated, too, with a powerful and brand new electric heater. Take a midnight dip after the temperature drops and enjoy it through winter rentals as well.

Indoors, huge windows light the entire living room. Hang out together in the living room, large dining room and make the best use of Florida’s best feature - its sunshine - in the sunroom. Should you have late-arriving guests or a group of children or teens, two sofa beds here accommodate four more.

A bright and happy family kitchen comes completely stocked for large meals. Enjoy the convenience of a dishwasher and microwave, and the crucial feature required by parents everywhere - the coffee machine.

Lots of gadgets and technology keeps everyone happy and connected. High-speed Internet is available wirelessly, just bring your laptop and never miss an email. A small desk is provided in the corner of the living room.

Stretch out and relax in your master bedroom, where a massive king sized bed ensures a great night’s sleep. The furniture is all new, making this a squeaky clean vacation rental to make your own. In bedroom two your guests have a double bed and new furniture as well. The third bedroom has two twin beds, a good choice either for children or teens. Unpack at your leisure in new dressers and closets. The two full bathrooms both have a shower, and one has a bathtub/shower combination. Feel completely at home, with a full laundry room to ensure your vacation clothes are ready for the beach, day after day.

The short 5-block walk to the beach makes an ideal morning stroll and makes you feel very much a part of the Venice community, greeting neighbors and dog walkers on the way. Local neighborhoods boast very quiet streets, safe for walking, and larger roads have sidewalks. In all, it’s a very convenient area for pedestrians.

Brohard Paw Park, better than Disney World to a dog, is nearby. Slightly further, about 15 blocks away, is downtown Venice. The Edgewood Historic District makes for atmospheric surrounds while enjoying an afternoon drink.

My family enjoyed our vacation at 833 Baycrest so much! The house was not only beautiful it was also stocked with everything you will need for a no worry vacation. The Venice beach area where the house is located has a relaxing old world charm with many restaurants, fun beaches, and SHOPPING! No hot water and no rush to make it right

This would have been a decent place to stay, however, there were many issues that just made this a very bad experience:

1. The access code provided in my letter was not the access code to unlock the door. We called the emergency line as it was 10:30pm at night, no one answered. After digging around, the correct access code was found on the portal

2. When we walked into the house, it was pitch dark. No light switches worked. All the lamps had been unplugged. Thank goodness for the iPhone flashlight.

3. There was still a garbage can of garbage 1/2 full of rotting fruit peels and smelly.

4. The sheets were dirty. My son went to get in his bed, there was sand/dirt all over the comforter. He changed the comforter (found a blood stain on it), climbed in the sheets to feel dirt and sand all over his legs. We pulled the sheets back and sure enough, there was dirt.

5. My daughter climbed into her sheets and encountered the exact same experience plus a bonus of a dirty sock in between her sheets.

6. NO HOT WATER!!!!!!!!!!!!! NONE! We called several times, spoke to 2 different people, were told they would call us back and nothing after 2pm on Saturday. We left Monday morning. We had no hot water the entire trip and no one seemed to care. I called again Sunday evening, left a message on the voicemail and as of Monday night, no one called me back.

I do not think I will ever rent from VRBO ever again as no one seems interesting in making this right. They did not even offer to put us in another location due to the lack of hot water. Very disappointed and do NOT recommend this to anyone. I understand there are times things don't work, but the management of this property did absolutely nothing to correct the hot water issue or ever return phone calls to assist in finding another solution. Very, very, very poor customer service.

House was generally clean, but kitchen floor had not been thoroughly cleaned for a long time

Kitchen woodwork was very loose with gaps and dirty, curtains were stained, paint pealing in numerous places, stained ceilings. Pool area very dirty, clothes washer did not work for entire stay, landscaping very poor

The outside could use a good clean up. The inside is dated, but liveable.

There is plenty of room, we had 8 in our group and the size was perfect. The pool was exceptionally nice it was great entertainment. The house is close to Sharkys and the beach, we could have walked but chose not to. Everything you need is so close. Loved our time there we will definitely considered coming back.

Update on "not as advertised."

Horrible service continues. Three attempts in the first week after the stay to get recourse, no response from "managers". Further attempt made roughly one month later, very nice person in office stated that I should have received my damage deposit with 5-7 working days, and updated my folio, and would be address ASAP around holidays. Now almost a month later, no response. DO NOT RENT this property or work with this management group.

Filthy

Filthy dirty, just put an entire explanation, not sure why it's asking for it again. Dirty, not supplied with basic supplies, beep from Verizon wifi every single day, call center in Malaysia, said I would be reimbursed for buying basic necessities that were not supplied, beds not clean, sheets/towels bags of wet clothes in washer/dryer and in laundry room. Never rent from Vacation Rental Pros again, they do not keep up the property.

NOT as advertised...

The house was clean, located well, and the right size. But, after unloading bikes, sand sifters, luggage, and food for 10 for the Thanksgiving weekend we found:

1. The en suite bathroom toilet was disassembled and the drain outlet was open and uncovered. The toilet was left blocking the access to the shower and sink.

2.There is no “King” size bed in the house, 2 queens, 2 twins, and 2 futons.

3.The “Heated” Pool never got above 69 degrees, the thermostat was locked and there were no instructions on operating the system.

4. The smoke alarm was disabled in the twin bedroom, probably to silence a chirping alarm…

5. The chirping alarm went off every 15 min or so continuously during the first night and morning of our stay, it was the battery backup for the Verizon internet service out in the sunroom. It could be silenced for 24 hours at a time…

6. The door jamb to the twin room was damaged and the plate fell out when we opened the door, and a pane of glass was missing in the kitchen door.

7. The garbage disposal switch??...was posted to never be “Turned off”, so we didn’t have use of the system.

8. We called the listed maintenance service in the house manual, several previous contacts were crossed out and the handwritten contact never returned our calls regarding the maintenance issues. We went to the store the first morning while the kids stayed home. A maintenance person walked in and said to them, “I didn’t know this was rented” and left.

9. We had arrived planning to make Thanksgiving dinner for 10 people. Vacation Pros took our complaints and offered to move us, but being in the middle of food prep and with visitors coming within the hour of the offer, we just stuck it out so we didn’t lose 4 hours or more loading and unloading again.

10. The representative working the day before Thanksgiving said my issues would be dealt with by a manager whom would receive my folio. But no calls or emails have occurred. I called them again after 1 full business day after Thanksgiving weekend had passed and was told a manager would receive my message. No contacts have occurred.

I am willing to pay for the amenities I actually received, but based upon the amenities advertised, I feel I am due some reimbursement/refund as well as my damage deposit.

I have used VRBO many times and have had no issues. I would recommend VRBO in general, but NOT this owner or property manager based upon my current experience.
