Hi! My name is Steve Milo and I started Vacation Rental Pros in 2006. Our family stays in vacation rental homes whenever we travel, both domestically and abroad! I own several vacation homes and listen carefully to all our guests' feedback. Our greatest compliment is when folks refer Vacation Rental Pros to their friends and relatives. We now manage over 1,800 properties in Florida, Tennessee and South Carolina. We have homes in Ft. Myers Beach, Orlando, St. Augustine Beach, Daytona Beach, Palm Coast, Ponte Vedra Beach, Hilton Head and Gatlinburg. We booked over 15,000 rentals and received over 5,000 guest reviews in 2016. Please call if you need help booking your dream vacation!
Excellent vacation location! Definitely will come again. The view is very good - we liked very much where the side where the balcony was - nice beach view, relaxing and not too crowded.
Condo was nice and well equipped as pictured. Building lobby was under construction during the stay so for many days there was no secure door entrance. However construction crew was nice and accomodating.
The place was fairly clean but certain details would improve. Leather couch was sticky with some type of cleaner. Had to keep a blanket over it to use. Clock needed battery. Light fixture dirty. Having a luggage rack would be a major plus and reduce wear and tear on furniture and guests back. Good size for two but 4 would be a stretch. Everything was as advertised. Because I am from Sarasota and was doing a staycation I knew what amenities were available. The free beach ride jitney will be a real plus during high season. Did not know about that. Clayton's restaurant a favorite, good happy hour menu and crowd and the Toasted Mango for Breakfast very good.
My wife and I have traveled to Punta Cana, Mexico, And other Oceanview destinations, But we both agree this is #1. We are in the g88 condo at the Palm Bay Club. We have no idea where the complaints are coming from. This place is great. The beach is perfect. To the left out the driveway is Siesta Key Village, Restaurants, Pubs, Nightlife, And beach shops.(2 to 3 mile walk or drive). To the right out the driveway is the Outlets, Sit down restaurants, And everything you want. Want to go to Village and have drinks and not drive or walk, They have FREE Jerry rides that you call, They'll pick you up and drop you back off at your condo. (They drive for tips). Only regret my wife and I have is, We didn't find this place sooner. A+ for us.
Overall great place, great vacation, great beach!
Greatly enjoyed our 10 days in Siesta Key. Nice condo with location right on the beach. One only needs to exit the building, turn right, and be right on the beach. This is by far the best beach in the U.S. The sand is like powdered sugar & is easy on which to take long strolls. The pictures on the website are a true representation of the unit. The lanai gives a wonderful view of the south facing beach & gulf. The wooden furniture & the bathroom could use upgrading.
We did have an issue. We only rent properties that have a washer & dryer in the unit, as we pack light and wash a load each evening. In the description section of the unit, it lists a washer & a dryer. Another similar unit in the building belonging to this owner/manager did not list a washer & dryer. When booking the unit, we asked the rep. if there indeed was a washer & dryer in the unit & was told there was. That turned out to be false. There is a washer & dryer in a utility room on the floor that is shared by the units on the floor. It costs $2.00 to wash & $1.00 to dry. You must obtain a laundry card at the complex office ($5.00 deposit required). You then take the card to a cash machine to load money onto the card. If there is any money left on the card, it is forfeited. This resulted in an unexpected $21.00 expense. The website needs to be changed to washer & dryer available of the floor.
My husband and I rented this unit for a five day vacation to celebrate our 10th anniversary. The location was indeed fantastic, right on the water. We loved the free use of the beach chairs however I thought we also could use the covered comfy beach chairs free of charge as well. We didn't see the point in spending $25 a day to sit in a covered chair. The unit was very clean. It could use some painting under the window in the living room; the paint was all peeling and chipped. The bed was so comfy I didn't ever want to leave it. The bathroom was fine (not sure why there was Halloween soap but whatever). I would suggest the owner purchase some real beach towels. We had to go down to the beach every day with bath towels that weren't very large in size. Also the iron will need to be replaced as it's missing the knob and the ironing board desperately needs a new cover. One note: after a day out in the sun, we came back to the unit. I noticed I had two calls from "Christina" who I assume is the property manager. She said she was trying to reach me about replacing the air conditioning unit. Well lo and behold, I looked and the thermostat for the ac had already been replaced. There was no point in calling her back. I am glad no one stole the over $1,000 in cash that I had in the unit... we did not give anyone permission to enter the unit with our belongings in there. My husband and I were not impressed to say the least. Anyway, we enjoyed our stay. It was the perfect couple's retreat.
