This was our one year and summer vacation all rolled into one! We enjoyed fishing for trout and cute sunnies in the pond. Our jobs are both very stressful, so when we are by the creek all that stress melted away.
This is a perfect place to see the true beauty of the outdoors. From all the wildlife to the serene views.
THANKS for this lovely piece of heaven.
My husband and I just returned from a long weekend at the Creekside cabin for our anniversary. First let me say the pictures do not do it justice. When we pulled into the driveway the first thing we noticed were the beautiful lights strung around the area of the cabin and the studio. So very pretty. The pumpkins decorating the entry of the cabin were a great touch.
When we entered the cabin the first sight is that gorgeous stone fireplace and the rustic log mantle and trim around the windows and doorways ...Loved it!!! The romantic music playing for us when we arrived just added a special touch. The kitchen..oh my goodness. Rustic and retro with a huge picture window looking out to the beautiful fall scenery. I could cook all day in that kitchen, and I don't cook!!! LOL!! The Creekside room was so peaceful, I sat there on the floor each morning, loving the view as I drank my coffee and did my makeup. The bedroom is cozy and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom is even cute, the copper sink is great. The ceiling was a little low for my husband but he is 6'5.
As far as the review regarding the road being close to the house, it is a little closer than
we had expected also, but there was not a lot of car travel and we still felt secluded. The log privacy wall next to the hot tub was a great idea even though it was too chilly for us to use it. Also, while exploring the property we found a disco ball hanging in a little area by another fire pit. So random but how fun!!! Party time!!! Loved it!!
I kept thinking what a great property it would be to have some friends come and stay.
I'm wondering if the studio may become a rental in tha future also. My husband and I will definitely be back!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful property with us!!

We thought that the cabin and it's appointments were adorable. We were although unprepared for the proximity of cabin to the road. It was a bit odd to be in the hot tub with cars zooming by. We also thought that we would have access to more hiking trails. We only found the one that took us to the pond and the second that went around the pond and followed the creek. The other thing that hadn't expected was the second cabin right next to the one that we had rented. We were also missing a Duralog for the fireplace so in the beginning getting a fire started with wood from the outside which was damp was a bit difficult. We read the instructions which said don't use the wood next to the fireplace so we went out to get it. But none the less we did enjoy our visit. Thank you for letting us stay. When will we see the credit for the security charge?
Yet again another amazing stay at Big Al's creek house. It is always a pleasure staying here. Third time and counting. That's why we try to come once a year. Thank you Kevin for allowing us to have our engagement photoshoot at Big Al's. It sure was a wonderful experience. We can't wait to see how beautiful the pictures will be. Thank you for all the little added details around the creekhouse the lights are amazing. It is always a great experience at the Creekhouse. We hope to be here next year once again maybe after our wedding. Thank you so much guys.
You will not be disappointed!
Second time being here and it was just as fabulous. Came once in January and October.
Very unique an absolute gem! Becky and and Andrew were great!
Great location for activities, however, the tranquility and charm of this place will want you to stay in the cozy cabin and just relax and enjoy. Love the sitting room watching the creek, jacuzzi and relaxing in the hammock. Such charecter and every detail of this place is well thought out with care. This is our favorite place!
We went for our honeymoon, the property and the home gave us such good memories. I love the smell of cedar and now that smell brings me back to our visit here. It was just a perfect place.
Beautiful land and beautiful home. We arrived after sundown to find the property lit up with lights-- music and candles welcomed our entry. The owner gets out of their way to make the guest feel welcome, and have created a wonderful sanctuary to recharge from city life. Our St Bernards spent the weekend blazing the trails, swimming in the pond, and soaking in the beautiful stream. We're now back on the city with exhausted dogs. Thank you for a lovely, relaxing weekend.
With the beautiful creek and the romantic setting, why would anyone want to leave Big Al's Creek House? But if one did have cause to venture out, Big Al's Creek House is conveniently central to all Pocono Mountain resort area attractions.
