Spacious & comfortable: Oceanfront with great views!
My husband and I fell in love with Bandon Beach in 2001, and built the vacation rental All About the View in 2003 so we could enjoy vacations there and share it with others.
As a golf addict, Rex loved playing Bandon Dunes, but felt it was too high priced for most people to play regularly, so spearheaded the creation of Bandon Crossings Golf Course south of town.
Carla Smith purchased this house in 2010
It became available at a reasonable price, and we just loved the open feeling of the layout and the ocean view. So we took on another project and have fixed it up for everyone to enjoy.
The open ceiling of the living room seems so expansive, and the views from there and the west bedroom are fantastic. It's split level, with only a few stairs to the main living area and one bedroom and bath, which is nice for groups with some who are less than comfortable with stairs. There are only a few stairs in and up to that level.
Fantastic location right across the street from Face Rock State Park. Lucked out on weather--sunny and balmy 73 degrees during our stay. The sunsets were gorgeous. The house is a bit dated but this fact is overshadowed by its location and size. The accommodations exceeded our expectations. Able to sleep five adults and six children and still room for people to have their own space. Big kitchen kept all the cooks happy and big screen TV in living room kept all the kids happy (when not at the beach). Great home base for exploring the Oregon coast. Found Bandon to be a very friendly town. If fortunate enough to travel back to Oregon, would definitely want to stay at All Sunsets & Surf again.
Very nice house with great separation of space but plenty of room for group gatherings ,meals, conversation etc. Wonderful view of the ocean and easy access to the beach. Having a garage to park in was a plus. House is not within walking distance to "Old Town", but easy, quick drive. Quick, short walk to one dinner restaurant however. Rental process was easy and all questions/inquiries were answered promptly. House was clean and comfortable. Would definitely rent again!
We had a group ranging in age from 6-81 and All Sunsets and Surf was perfect for all of our needs. The house was nicely outfitted, had enough space for children and adults to spread out, and the location could not have been better. Thank you for sharing your beautiful home with us! We have vacationed at many locations on the Oregon coast and this is by far our favorite. We will be back!
We had a very nice stay. Loved the ocean views. Had everything we needed. 3 bathrooms made it supe nice!!. We will stay here again with our family. There is plenty of room.
When we walked into the house we knew we had picked the perfect place. The view was amazing!! It also helped that we just happened to pick a week that the weather more than cooperated for us. Mid 80's in Bandon?! Just crazy!!! We had a minor issue and Carla was amazing! She responded quickly and since the issue wasn't able to be solved right then (it was late in the evening) she more than accommodated us. We had such a great time and would definitely stay here again. Thanks again Carla for everything!
very nice place to stay our family vacation was peaceful and relaxing, we enjoy our stay and will do it again next year we highly recomended thanks again and hope to get it again soon....
Our stay was entirely too short in such a great location. The property was clean and inviting. The picture don't do the property or the location justice. Their payment, check in, and check out system was painless. We hope to come back for a much longer stay.
Bandon, along Highway 101 on the beautiful southern Oregon Coast, is both picturesque and uncrowded. It's a fun family vacation spot, but is world renown for it's golf courses. Special rates are available to our guests at Bandon Crossings Golf Course just 5 miles south of this small town, the famous Bandon Dunes Resort is just north of town.
Bandon, Oregon is a wonderful coastal retreat, with quaint shops and art galleries. It has miles of lovely beaches, tide pools, wildlife, and pounding surf. There's lots to do: horseback riding on the beach, flying kites, kayaking through the Bandon Marsh, fishing for salmon in Coquille River, exploring the Sand Dune National Recreation Area, about an hour north, and of course, golfing.
Beach access is just across the way at Face Rock Wayside, maintained by the state of Oregon. The Oregon Islands offshore is part of a national wildlife preserve.
