Classic Style Sullivan's Island house - Very Charming!
Looking for that Southern Charm? This is it! This is a Classic style Sullivan's Island house with lots of character and a large fenced-in yard. It is very well-kept and maintained. It is within walking distance to all the local restaurants and bars, and only a short walk to the beach -- about 250 yards. Huge fenced-in yard with ample off street parking. Heart pine floors throughout this single-level elevated home. Large screened-in front porch with nice sitting area for guests to enjoy and relax. Also a deck off the back of the house with a charcoal grill. 2 separate living rooms with 1 flat screen TV / DVD Player; master bedroom also has flat screen TV. Wonderful house - much larger inside than the photos. Great back yard for dogs to play in. We enjoyed it very much. Already booked again for 2018. Thanks, The Martins
I would stay there again. It was very easy to check in, and the house was very spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Walking distance to the beach. The only negative was the reservation was not clear about having to pay for linen service. Be sure to add that into your budget.
Other than that, I would stay here again!
This is the perfect beach house for a family vacation. The house is large enough to accommodate a number of people and allows for everyone to sprawl out -- both inside and on the front and back screened porches. Your dogs will love the huge, fenced in yard. Walk out the back gate right to Dunleavy's side door and all of Sullivan's restaurant row. Head one block out the front gate, and you are at Station 22 1/2 beach. You could easily park your car (after a much needed trip to the grocery and liquor store) and never move it again. BUT, if you want to head into Charlestown, it is an easy 10 minute drive away. The only reason I didn't give the house 5 stars is because thehouse literally comes with nothing. Bring your linens (or rent) and make sure you think of anything you might need at the grocery. We rent houses several times a year, and typically there are non-perishables like seran wrap and tin foil left behind - not at this house. My guess is the cleaning crew takes it all. Rather than go to IOP Harris Teeter, I suggest you head to Mount Pleasant Publix; it's about 4 miles from the house and the produce is better. There is also a Whole Foods a bit further on in Mount Pleasant. We will definitely be coming back to this classic, easy living Sullivan's beach house!
Great house for any family. Near beach and restaurants......would never have to move car if you didn't want to! The top bunk bed had a sign that said weight limit was 70 lbs. That should be noted in description of beds Screened in porches were so nice! Big table to seat everyone and to sit and play games!
Wonderful location, within easy walking distance of beach and local restaurants. Plenty of space for families, with ample conveniences: washer, dryer, grill, screened porch with rockers, and hose for washing sandy feet from the beach. A great rental!
