On the mountain-- The house is only 100 feet to Camelback ski slopes and Camelbeach water park. Spacious 3 level townhouse features a cozy fireplace, 3 Dish TV with over 250 channels, VCR, DVD player. Parking lot level. The dining area has seating for 7 next to a full kitchen and a ½ bath all on the same floor. The outdoor deck has patio chairs. There are multiple bedrooms to accommodate up to 12 people. Upstairs there is a loft bedroom with a queen bed, Dish TV and a full bathroom. Below the main level are 2 bedrooms (1st has 2 queen beds. 2nd bedroom has a bunk bed with full futon bed and 2 twin, Dish TV), washer/dryer, and full bathroom also on this level. Living has a Sofa bed also a Sat TV, DVD/VCR and Foosball table. The Clubhouse has an indoor pool, jacuzzi, saunas, tennis court (indoor and outdoor), and weight room.

The Village at Camelback is a privately owned, four season townhouse community, located on Camelback Road in Tannersville, PA., in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Offering indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, saunas, gym, indoor and outdoor tennis courts and much more.

Cold weather enjoyment is assured with skiing from slope side town homes. In addition, snowmobiling on winding mountain trails, cross country skiing through beautiful woodlands; horse drawn sleigh rides and ice skating are all nearby. Warm temperatures provide the newly designed Camelbeach water park just minutes away, along with hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, tennis, golf, fishing, hunting, flying, boating, white water rafting and canoeing.

Had great time on the mountain. It is so good walk out and ski. Michael was verg helpfull. The house is very well maintained. Nice community with a swimming pool.

I've stayed at this property with my extended family for a few days in Feb; It was one of my best vacation experience ever ; House isin great condition, freshly painted; It was right on the ski slope and we did ski in and ski out; I highly recommend this property; very relaxing and a lot of fun

Ideal location but house just adequate.

Pros:

Very close to the slopes (walking about 200 yards)

3 separate bedrooms (1 is a loft) with 2-1/2 baths

Wood fireplace

Gas grille on deck

Plenty of dinner plates

Keyless code for front door entry

Access to indoor swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, indoor tennis, basketball court

Cons:

Furniture is old, in need of repair, and uncomfortable

House was in need of immediate repairs due to nonfunctional bedroom doorknob and improper stove installation. Also, many obvious signs of poor maintenance over a long period of time: holes in walls, holes in doors, broken screens in windows, very uncomfortable mattresses in bunk room, gaps and damage in trim throughout the house.

Kitchen does not have large bowls or cookie sheets

Not enough glasses or mugs for coffee

Kitchen table is in bad shape and placement is awkward – creates a narrow walkway from front door to living room

No vanity or counter space in downstairs bathroom, and shower curtain rod was poorly installed and crooked

Owner's Response: Thank you for renting, but my house does not have hole in walls and doors. As a matter of fact, the house was just painted a day before your arrival. Trim frame and doors are new and the furniture is just a year old. The bathroom has a vanity, just the way you see it on the picture. I just brought more mugs and glass. If it was an issue, I could have brought them right away. The stove is brand new and installed by Sears. I checked the shower rod - no issues. I don't provide cookie sheets. The kitchen table can be moved. It is not glued to the floor.

Had a Great Time!

This unit is truly a ski on ski off place to stay so no need to pack up the car/truck. Just walk to slopes, put on your gear and go! The front door is coded (not keyed) which made it easy for everyone in our group to come and go as we pleased. The owner is very responsive and clearly wants his renters to be comfortable. Looking forward to next year's ski trip!!
