About The Owner

My husband and I (and parents) purchased this property for family gatherings. We knew that we would be returning throughout the years because this is such a magical place. We are so excited to share this with friends, family and vacationers. We have three daughters - all who feel like Kauai is their second home. Hopefully this will be a place for family vacations not only for our family but others as well.

The Owner purchased this townhome in 2009

Why The Owner chose Kauai

This complex is the newest development in Princeville. It's truly beautiful, quiet and set in paradise. This unit has never been lived in and only visited for a short period of time. The furnishings are exquisite along with the bedding, linens and all other amenities. There are three lanai's for you to relax, one downstairs and two upstairs. All three bedrooms are upstairs; one with a California king, one queen and two twin beds in the third room. There is an office upstairs with a futon to sleep additional people along with wireless internet and printer for those who bring their laptop. There are two bathrooms upstairs - the master has a walk in shower and large soaking tub. The additional full bathroom adjoins the two bedrooms with a vanity attached to each side. There is a flat screen TV in the Master bedroom along with a reading area (crib set up here), large lanai and huge walk in closet. There is an additional flat screen TV in the second bedroom. All windows have beautiful window coverings and rooms have ceiling fans. The large open kitchen is an entertainers dream with a built in wine cooler, a large island for extra seating, granite counters and every imaginable appliance you could need. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could possibly think of including a set of children's dishes and spill proof cups. The dining room has seating for 6. The large family room has a wall mounted flat screen TV along with DVD player. All TV's in the house have cable. For days when you want to stay in, there are board games, cards, movies, books and a Playstation. This place is perfect. We have visited the islands many times and keep finding ourselves coming back to Princeville. It's truly Paradise.

What makes this townhome unique

You are a short walk to the beautiful, private pool and hot tub. You are a short drive to several of the worlds most beautiful beaches. Minutes away from the Princeville Resort and Spa Minutes away from shopping, grocery store, playground, library, stables, golfing, hiking and more. We have provided for your stay, 3 - 21 speed bicycles, snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach chairs, beach umbrella, beach towels and a large rolling cooler.

Guestbook comments from the owner

"We, a family of 3, stayed here for 9 nights and had a wonderful time. Everything was was just so right for us. Spacious, comfortable, clean, bright and well laid out; just as advertised. Our 3.5 year old had plates and cups just for her and a great crib as well as toys for the beach. The bikes and beach mats were terrific; saved us time and money to have them right at the condo. Cooking facilities, towels & linens were top notch (although we never did figure out the fancy microwave), and the master bath was absolutely first rate. Excellent, too, when we had a problem with the property management problem over an issue, the owners stepped in and made everything right without any fuss at all. We would rate this at the very top of the 15 or so condo experiences we have had in the last 10 years, both for quality and value. I highly recommend Nihilani 22C. Mike K., Venice Beach, CA"

Great Condo

  • 5 of 5

We stayed five days and wish we had stayed longer. The condo is well furnished throughout and included a crib for our granddaughter as well as beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, and snorkeling and masks. The kitchen has everything you might want for cooking and serving. The two -story layout provides lots of separation, and the huge master suite (with gorgeous mountain views) is located at the other end of the condo from the large queen bed room and adjoining bath, so a perfect place for two couples or a three-generation family like us. The pool is easy walking distance which we enjoyed in the afternoon after visiting the local beaches. As noted in other reviews, the owners were helpful to ensure a good visit. A perfect place to enjoy the North Shore of Kauai. Highly recommended.

Outstanding Hawaiian Condo!

  • 5 of 5

We have stayed at Nihilani several times, but this was the first time we booked through VRBO (and it was our first experience in 22C). The unit was fantastic, roomy, and everything was provided for a comfortable stay. The owners are wonderful and have spared no expense to ensure their guests have everything they need to have a fabulous time. We especially enjoyed the comfortable bed in the upstairs Master bedroom, and the flat screen television was an added bonus. We were one of several families who traveled together and booked at Nihilani, and everyone was jealous of "our" unit. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Vacation Home

  • 5 of 5

I had the good fortune to stay in this home for an entire month and it was an absolutely amazing experience. Everything in the house is immaculate and all the appliances are state of the art. The owners have thought of everything to make their guests experience a great one. There was beach towels, snorkel equipment, water socks , umbrellas and beach chairs all available to us. I was so relaxed at the end of the month that I did not want to leave. The island of Kauai is stunningly beautiful, and there are amazing beaches and sights to behold everywhere. If you are a golfer there is championship golf available right in Princeville. You simply must give this place a try! It truly is paradise! I personally plan to return to this home for another visit.

We Absolutely Loved Our Stay!

  • 5 of 5

We loved our stay . We spent 8 nights, including Christmas Day, and couldn't have been more happy with the accommodations, the location of the unit, and all the amenities provided inside the condo.

Just about anything you'd need was provided, from beach gear, to bikes, to coolers, to kitchen and laundry supplies. The property description on here was accurate, and even better in reality.

The house was beautifully decorated, and very spacious and comfortable for my family of 5. It was very clean upon arrival, and the entire process from initial contact with the owner, to everything afterwards, went seamlessly well. The owner is very nice and quick to respond to any and alll of your questions. I very much hope to stay in this same unit again when we return to Kauai.

We spent most of our time with my brother's family, who owns a unit in Nihilani, and spent a lot of time at Hanalei Bay, snorkeling on the St. Regis Beach just down the road, running the path of Makai Golf Club down to the St. Regis, spent a day at Princeville Ranch Adventures zipping and kayaking, went to Tunnels Beach, Glass Beach, Poipu Bay walking trail, Kauai Coffee and the Smith Family Luau in Wailua. Also checked out the Christmas village in Lihue on Christmas Eve to see Santa. Just a great trip, and the accommodations made it even better.

The complex's pool and hot tub are very nice, the grounds around the complex are immaculate, it's very quiet, and the location is just great. I would highly recommend staying in Princeville, and in this unit, to anyone. It is so much better than staying at a hotel.

absolutely amazing

  • 5 of 5

This home was absolutely fantastic! The accommodations are spotless and amazingly comfortable. Large spacious kitchen, family room and dining room made it easy for a party of eight. The kitchen was so well-equipped and the beds very comfortable. There was beach towels, snorkel equipment, water socks and beach chairs all available to us. All you need to pack is a couple of bathing suits, a couple pairs of shorts and a cover-up. You are good to go!

The kids were so happy. The family room came equipped with large flatscreen TV, cable and PlayStation. Not that you'll be using them much because There's so much to do on this island. But it was very nice to have when we had some downtime.

This location is fabulous! Close to some of the best beaches on Kawai. Even the beaches that are on the other side of the island are not that far away. Close to horseback riding zip lining and some of the best hiking on the island. We were so happy with this location. Last time we came to Kawai are accommodations were not nearly as luxurious. It was so nice to have wonderful accommodations.

If you're a golfer you will love it here.

Best place ever!!!

Quiet and clean updated home with plenty of space.

  • 4 of 5

My family of 6 and a 7mo old visited the north shore for spring break. The house was very clean, well stocked, spacious, quit neighborhood, great lanai's for morning coffee. The bikes came in handy for fun rides to the Princeville stores/shops, The St. Regis, Queens Bath or Hideaways Beach as this was the only things to do close by besides golfing. To visit other main points on the island you will need a car.

As we cooked in the kitchen, we realized the garbage disposal and hot water wasn't working in the sink. We called Angela and she promptly called out their repair guy who was very nice and got us up and running. We also miss placed our pool key and she took care of that too! Thanks for helping to make our trip so enjoyable!

We found ourselves searching for the sun most of our stay. Being from WA state we definitely came for fun in the sun. So we drove down to the east side or south shore beaches for this no more then 20 min to a little over an hour away. When we got too burnt then we would hang out on the north shore beaches. I would recommend Tunnels or Hideaways for overall fun and beauty on the north. Not too crowded and good snorkeling. Parking is limited though. Other good snorkeling was Annini Beach where we swam with 3 turtles.

It was great to relax and unwind after a full days fun in this town home. Great showers, pool/jacuzzi facility, kitchen, 50" flat screen, AC etc. All the comforts a home should have. All the people we met were very nice and helpful with local tips.

Nihilani was a very nice place to stay and was one of the newest developments.
