About Robert Morrison
Bob and Emily Morrison are native Floridians, but have lived in the Boston area for many years. With their five children and dog, they have enjoyed many weekends and vacations in Maine.
Robert Morrison purchased this Cabin in 2000
Why Robert Morrison chose Bethel
Various members of our family love to ski, hike, play golf, and canoe. We also enjoy simply escaping to the mountains. It is much cooler and pleasant in the Summer, and the Fall foliage is amazing. The skiing is much better at Sunday River than at most other New England resorts. It is a little farther from New York City and Boston. Because Sunday River is so large and has such great lifts, there are very few waits in lift lines. We also fell in love with the cabin when we first saw it.
What makes this Cabin unique
When we are at the cabin, we enjoy a comfortable, rustic, and peaceful setting. Although the cabin has central heating, we also greatly enjoy the beautiful fireplace during the Fall and Winter months. During the Spring and Summer, we spend a lot of time on the porch, out in the large yard, and in the surrounding woods.

Beautiful cosy Log Home
What a great place to stay, very well appointed log home, the fireplace is a true wow factor, to sit in front of it in the evening is bliss.
Having stayed in many places around Bethel over the years we all agree that this is the place to come back to.
Thank you Morrisons.
A very well equipped cabin, exactly as described. Beautifully furnished, warm and comfortable. One of the better rentals in the Bethel area. In March, 2018, the internet connection, however, was very intermittent, in spite of a new wifi router. But who needs the internet in such a beautiful place?
Great location with everything you need for a relaxing stay.
Had a great time skiing at Sunday River conveniently located nearby and exploring historic Bethal. Bob was very responsive to inquiries and a great host. Would stay again.
Enjoyed a wonderful family ski vacation here with my wife, grown kids and their friends. Clean, cozy home. great communication from owner. Thank you!!
Comfortable retreat close to Sunday River - a real getaway!
We had a wonderful long weekend at this cabin. It comfortably fit two families of four and was close to restaurants and Sunday River. The owner was incredibly available and accommodating and the house had everything we needed to feel at home. Would definitely go back!
The cabin is well maintained and just enough off the beaten path to enjoy nature at it's best.
The front porch was a lovely place to start your morning or end your day. The area has great hiking trails leading to numerous waterfalls. The town of Bethel is charming and has a variety of eating establishments for every type of palete.
Close to Appalachian Trail, Mt. Washington, and Grafton Notch
