Don't be misled by our affordable rates. This home is newly remodeled, well appointed and we are proud to offer a budget minded, family friendly vacation option. So spend less, and stay longer!
From our guest book: 'We wish we had a few more days to enjoy here! We have experienced so many VRBO rental homes that leave us searching high and low for basic supplies, but the owners have thought of everything! Especially appreciated good sharp knives for cooking. The place is very homey/cozy and it was so easy to just relax by the fire or in the hot tub. Our dogs loved the large yard to bound around in! A great birthday weekend for my husband! Wolf Creek powder, Kip's Grill fish tacos and a great rental! Thanks!'

We are local Pagosa Springs folks and are thankful to work, play and live here. Steve has been an electrical contractor for the past 14 years and during that time I have run the office. We now manage these rentals together as well. Our two young children, old black dog and cantankerous cat round out our happy home. We live just down the road from this rental and are generally available to answer questions and handle any situations that may arise.
Ohea Graham purchased this house in 2004
We purchased this property because of the location. It's very close to town and has amazingly expansive views. It was originally a long term rental, but when our tenants of four years moved out we began offering it as a sparsely furnished guest house for friends and family. This experiment was a success and we decided to rent short term in order to maintain the flexibility of having it available for our loved ones. We have since found that there is indeed a niche for us to fill with this rental. Our goal is to offer the most affordable product possible, without sacrificing any amenities. We are continually working to improve this property and so far this spring (2010) we have enlarged the front porch, replaced the carpet in bedrooms 2 and 3, upgraded bedroom two from a double bed to a queen, and added four ceiling fans (one in each bedroom and one in the office/fourth bedroom.) 2011 and 2012 brought a new exterior; paint, wainscoting, shingled gables and a new wood shed. Next on the list is irrigation and landscaping. We're always happy to chat or answer questions so please do not hesitate to contact us. We are also open to trades if you have a vacation rental/second home available.
I rarely post reviews from our guest book, or from email exchanges with guests but I felt that this one was especially pertinent:
"Thank you Ohea. I’m glad the cleanliness was to your satisfaction.
We were meeting a larger group who stayed at The Springs and, when they came over for dinner and breakfast, they were jealous of our accommodations. They were cramped into a small room together, where we had a beautiful space and everything we could possibly need. It was a fantastic mini-vacation.
We plan on returning to Pagosa Springs for my son’s birthday. Hopefully your place will be available.

CLEAN! This home was perfectly clean! The kitchen was well supplied. Having access to the washer and dryer was great. There was enough room for my 6'6" husband and three 6' teenagers. The view from the deck is so pretty- mountains, valleys and horses. The house feels isolated but it's only a few minutes to the grocery store and to quaint downtown Pagosa Springs with fun shopping and eating. We drove to Wolf Creek for skiing and it only took about 30 minutes. Great home. Great location.
Property is very clean and well-kept. Loved the hot tub and all the extra space for how affordable it is.
The owner was quick to respond and so helpful with information. She has a binder of great information about Pagosa and knows her town. We went during a winter storm and when we woke up we felt like we were in a storybook picture of the North pole! It was absolutely beautiful. The house had everything we needed and plus. Firewood was supplied for the fireplace. Ample room for multiple visitors. Hot tub was great even in the 4 degree weather. Beautiful view from the back porch. This was the best vacation my family has ever taken. I recommend going with this property and the owners. They may have other properties if this is not the one you are wanting.
My group and I stayed in the place for a weekend snowboard trip up to wolf creek. It was perfect for us and was at a great price. The hot tub was great. 10/10 would stay again.
I've been here twice now, all things considered this place cannot be beat! The house is well stocked and the views from the back porch make this place special. You can't beat sitting in the hot tub looking over the Rocky Mountains, simply stunning and Ohea makes everything very easy! It has the country/privacy feel yet really convenient to downtown. Can't thank the owner enough for making this place available at such incredible value, you will not be disappointed.
We were very happy with our stay at this rental at Pagosa Springs for many reasons. Most spectacular were the views of the snow covered San Juan mountains. Each morning was a picturesque moment as the sun rose over the mountain ridge, and the near by horses always entertained us. The home was very neat and clean, with a fully equipped kitchen. The wood burning fireplace added a cozy touch. The location is close to downtown and the famous hot springs, and a convenient distance to the slopes. We loved the country setting. Thank you to the Grahams for providing the accommodations for a perfect Christmas!
The historic mountain town of Pagosa Springs is Colorado's best kept secret. With an average 320 days of sunshine, and a ski resort that consistently has the most snow in the state, Pagosa Springs is a recreational dream come true. The San Juan Mountains, Navajo Lake State Park, the San Juan River, the Pagosa Hot Springs and Wolf Creek Ski Area are all in close proximity, making this home the perfect base for all of your adventures, whatever the time of year.
