About Jen, Owner/Property Manager
We are Jen and Dave.
Jen, Owner/Property Manager purchased this House in 2008
Why Jen, Owner/Property Manager chose Dufferin Grove
We've lived in this Toronto west end neighbourhood for several years. Follow College St. east or head down Ossington Ave and maybe end up at Queen St. West a few blocks south. All of these local areas are well known for some of the best restaurants, art galleries and nightlife in Toronto. Also a great area for kids - Dufferin Grove park within a few minutes walk (playground and splash pad in summer/ice rink in winter and year round farmers market). With transit only a few steps from the property, it is a convenient commute to University of Toronto or the downtown business core.

Best place to stay in Toronto!
This is the best place I've ever stayed in Toronto. Super convenient and comfortable. I couldn't have asked for more and can't wait to stay again!
Central, peaceful, comfortable - Garden View!
I can't say enough about what a pleasant space this is; we spent a four-day weekend that I only wish had been longer. Everything you need in the kitchen including a roomy refrigerator, microwave, french press and more. Although the home is located in a bustling neighbourhood, the suite was very quiet, and the backyard was a great place to relax in the early evening. Jen was so friendly and helpful, and responded immediately to my questions. We had such fun in the area, checking out restaurants and shops. And I highly recommend the Farmer's Market in nearby Dufferin Grove park, should you be there on a Thursday. Welcoming vendors with great produce. We hope to return soon to this terrific space!
Four nights in the Garden View apartment
Earlier this month, my wife and I spent a relaxed and enjoyable four nights in this apartment. It is clean, spacious, and well-appointed. Jen was great to deal with; she replied promptly and showed lots of flexibility. The payment process ( a bank transfer) was extremely easy. Access instructions and house rules were clear and simple.
In addition to being a lovely pied-à-terre, it is situated in a fascinating part of Toronto. It is a short taxi ride from the Bloor stop on the UP Express from Pearson. There are lots of interesting shops and restaurants along College, Dundas, and Ossington, and it has good TTC links within a short walk.
Overall, this apartment is great value for money, especially when compared to hotel accommodation.
Just as an example of what's nearby: we had a great dinner at Enoteca Sociale, 1288 Dundas St West, which is about a 10 minute walk from the apartment.
We just returned from a brief visit to Toronto. We loved the garden view accommodation and it felt like our home away from home. This rental was clean, modern and very cozy. Close to some great restaurants and public transportation. Jen was a great host and very accommodating and we would certainly recommend this to others and certainly rent again if back in Toronto.
Had the pleasure of staying here for 3 days this week. Great location and beautiful area. We felt very comfortable and safe in this area. Apartment had everything you needed.
Fantastic retreat for a month in the city.
I spent a month in the Garden View apartment and was incredibly pleased with my time there. It is a lovely apartment tastefully furnished and felt like a home. The owners Jen and Dave are amazing hosts and are available without being intrusive. The apartment is in a fantastic location just off College and very easy to get anywhere by public transit. The apartment is very close to the YMCA so if you need to hit the gym it is right there. I will definitely be renting this place again the next time I am in Toronto and have recommended Jen and Dave's apartments to others.
