About Laura and Joe Ross
Having both owned houses before we married in February of 2009, we decided to try the vacation rental business rather than sell either. Our first guests were Laura's family, in town for the wedding. Since then, with Joe's work as an entertainer and our joint project of raising our three kids, we are plenty busy! However, we take pride in putting our visitors first and have really enjoyed meeting our guests and sharing the city we love with them.
Laura and Joe Ross purchased this House in 2008

We loved the house! Perfect for our four person family and very convenient by Uber to downtown Seattle. Laura and Joe were great hosts!
Great property close to Seattle center
We really enjoyed our stay at the Luna park house. It was a great location close to downtown and Alki beach and the water taxi to downtown was fantastic. We had 2 families and found the house to be perfect for us. Parking was tricky but very manageable. We would stay here again.
My favorite place to stay in West Seattle!
Staying here is like returning to the charm and comfort of Grandma's house. Great location, perfectly outfitted, and wonderful hosts. I only hope that it will always be available when this grandma visits!
Nice and comfortable
Super comfy and cozy. Love how this house reminds me of my great grannies house.
Wonderful memories. The hosts are super accommodating, very helpful, and very very very nice.
Central to everything
House was convenient and as pictured. Great towels and linens very soft and plush. Friendly neighborhood everyone we meet were wonderful. I would come back.
I would happily stay again!
The listing for this rental is quite informative and accurate. The top floor of the home is another rental listing and I was initially concerned about potential noise from the other guests. While it was possible to hear them walking about, the guests that were in the upstairs rental were generally quiet. If the possible noise is of concern to you, know that in probably most cases it will not be an issue.
The house had comfortable beds, was well equipped with furniture, the kitchen had newer appliances and there was a binder provided that answered many of the questions you might have upon arrival.
It was quite hot in Seattle during our stay and the house did get warm through the day but with the windows open and the provided fans running at night the house did cool down sufficiently to allow a decent sleep.
Coin laundry is provided ($1 for wash or dry) in the basement and it has a nice backyard.
Parking can be a little tight in the area, but there always seemed to be a space available near the house.
I did not deal with the owners much, but when I did I had quick responses and the information binder provided had answered most of my questions anyway.
I recommend the Woodland Park Zoo - I think it was a highlight of our trip. The aquarium was disappointing. The kids had fun at the Pacific Science Center. We also spent an entire day at Wild Waves water park - it was great. We finally found some decent shopping with free parking in the Westfield Southcenter Mall and surrounding area near the 405 and Interstate 5 intersection.
I would not hesitate to stay at this property again.
