This recently remodeled open concept loft is a ten minute walk to the 19 St BART, a few blocks from Lake Merritt, a Whole Foods market and downtown Oakland. Coffee shops, restaurants, art galleries, and dance studio spaces dot the immediate neighborhood.
The architectural appointments of this cityscape studio merge past and future, with oak floors, exposed brick walls, glass brick room dividers, stainless steel appliances, and granite counter tops. The view from the living area is of an enclosed patio roof garden and the condo space includes a full size, fully equipped kitchen, separate eating area, and bathroom with tile shower. A floor to ceiling curtain may be used to divide the space into two semi-private sleeping areas. One contains a new queen-sized bed, the other a double-sized convertible sofa bed.

We had a fabulous stay. First, I want to address the concerns recently expressed by other renters. In our two week stay, we never had significant noise issues, nor did we have homeless people "sleeping outside the door". This is an urban location and their is a low level of urban sounds, but, we never felt disturbed by it at all.
Lisa, the manager was fabulous and accommodating. The loft is very comfortable and very spacious for 2 people. We did some cooking and found the kitchen well equipped. The only suggestion would be to add a garlic press and a pot for boiling pasta and potatoes, in larger quantities.
We would definitely stay here again.
You have a very comfortable and cozy place. I enjoyed my stay there. My issues were beyond your control. Parking was not great with alternating nights not being able to park on one entire sided the road. The homeless people sleeping just outside the door and the panhandlers begging for money were there all week. The worst thing was the noise from the Taco Bell drive-thru. There were very loud car radios and pretty much at least one drunk person bothering the people in cars so Taco Bell personnel had to run them off and there was some shouting.
Lissa was very attentive and accommodating! This is a very large studio with a beautiful and kitchen, large sitting room and lovely bedroom space. The have done a great job decorating and the high ceilings make it feel more "roomy." The apartment was very clean and well-maintained. The bed is comfortably soft and the sheets and towels are high quality. This is a great getaway space for one or two, and just a 15 min BART ride from downtown San Francisco. I would suggest bringing ear plugs or having a white noise app on your phone if you are sensitive to noise as the Taco Bell drive-through speaker is just across from the bedroom window. I will most definitely visit this property again; it was very comfortable to live in for a week.
The apartment was great! It was very clean and comfortable and had all the amenities of home and then some. The location was close to BART and Oakland airport. This apartment worked perfectly for our long weekend get away and I would recommend it to anyone. Thank you.
Clean and unique. Was a great place to stay.. Easy to get to San Francisco and anything we needed was close by. Thank you.
I consult regularly in downtown Oakland and usually stay in hotels, however with a big conference in town I turned to VRBO and found this gem of a studio in a convienent location. The apartment was well equipped to meet all my needs. I had a great three night stay. The owner Sheila was well prepared and made everything very easy with great instructions.
