Great location and view

  • 4 of 5

Our month long stay was very enjoyable and comfortable. Nice and close to a beautiful rec center. The view from our patio looking at the Santa Ritas never got old. The kitchen is well stocked with every cooking gadget you can think of and everything was in working order. It would have been nice to have more cable TV stations and the master bedroom king bed needs to heve new sheets and pillow cases. Both bathroom stools still rock so they need to be reinstalled. Jack was very receptive to hearing our concerns and easy to deal with. We would definitely return for a longer stay.

Great view

  • 4 of 5

Jack was very accommodating. The place had everything you might need except for food. Beds were comfortable. Having a computer was a nice touch. Easy walking distance to the rec center and swimming. The traffic noise was bearable. Furnace worked well but needed a new filter. Vents were putting out dust so a vent cleaning followed by a good deep cleaning of drapes bedcovers carpets and tile might be in order.

Owner's Response: A new heating and air conditioning unit - and air filter - were installed just prior to this visit. We do try to keep the home as dust-free as possible with thorough cleanings between visits. We also change the air filter between visits. For some. that is not enough in the dusty desert, and we would like to hear about any problems as they occur so they can be resolved.

Great location, needs spiffing up.

  • 4 of 5

The condo is very near a great fitness center with a pool and sauna. Unfortunately the busy road prevents quiet enjoyment of the mountain view. The bathrooms were updated, but some towels and linens need to be replaced, and the bedroom carpets needed to be cleaned. There are many places to go and interesting things to see nearby. We visited the Pima County Air Museum, Tubac Art Festival, Tucson Art Museum, and Arivaca. We enjoyed eating at Los Agaves, and the lemon bars at Cayley's Cakes were great! The owner quickly replaced a "rocking" toilet. There was a closed golf course next to the community which made a good place to walk regularly. There are SO many activities for seniors in Green Valley that we would return to the community.

COMFORTABLE TOWNHOME w/PRIVATE PATIO

  • 4 of 5

We were happy to find this bright, warm, comfortable townhome for our winter getaway. The owners were very kind with their time and energy to make sure everything was in order. The TV blinked, and a new flat screen appeared the next day!

Great meals can be made in the fully-applianced kitchen, with several sets of dishes and more glasses than you will ever need.

My favorite spot was afternoon sunning on the private brick patio.....just imagine those are ocean waves instead of passing traffic.....and you can even nap there.

The wireless computer was terrific.

The neighbors are very friendly. A short morning walk to the 'Mercado' to buy 'USA Today' and 'Wall Street Journal' as well as local papers.

The artist colony town of Tubac, Arizona is just 15 minutes south. The large Tucson Mall is 20 minutes north. Lots of golf courses nearby....all in all a very fun, friendly place to stay for your visit.......And a very comfortable bed and bath at the end of every sun-filled day!

Wonderful townhouse - would stay here again

  • 5 of 5

We very much enjoyed our eleven day stay. We visited family in Tucson and took in a lot of sites as well. This townhouse was perfect. It was clean and comfortable and had everything anyone would need. The area was quiet and had easy access to the main roads. The washer and dryer and wi-fi access were most helpful for us. We really appreciated the shorter term rental as we only had a two week vacation. Since this was our first time in Tucson, we usually left early to spend time seeing the sites with our family then returned after dark. Our only regret was not having more time to spend and enjoy this great townhouse. Linda & Darrell from Wyoming

Great 12 dat stay!

  • 5 of 5

We loved Jack and Carol's condo. It was in a great location, near to Madera Canyon if you are bird watchers and central to everything. The condo is great - the king bed is the most comfortable I have ever slept on! I loved the patio with the lounger chairs and grill too. Jack and Carol are great landlords and we would recommend this lovely condo without hesitation. Ross and Elizabeth (Kelowna, BC, Canada.)
