We stayed in Vertical Drop over New year 2009/10 and it was really nice. The place does not look too big on the picture but in reality it is big , clean and cozy. We could bring our dog after agreeing with the owner and we had very good experience overall Katerina

Nice, cozy, inviting house

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay at Vertical Drop. Suzanne was extremely helpful with my 900 questions and always replied promptly. Payment was easy through VRBO and our deposit was promptly refunded within days. The extra charge for linens and towels was well worth it as it meant we didn't need to figure out and lug our own. While the heat worked fine, we still used the wood stove to make it toasty during our subzero stay (-20F!). The hot tub was also very welcome after a long day of skiing. The house is tucked in the woods but still very close to the Killington access road. Deciphering the various TV options (network, AppleTV and DVD) took some work to figure out the correct wiring for each but wasn't too tough. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

This house is the best. Our group of family and friends have been staying here once a year for a few years now. We made the mistake of picking a Diffrent house 2 years ago and realized there's nothing like it. It's always clean and never have any problems.

Great place for the family - could fit two families of four plus an extra family member. Super close to the slopes and easy to get to. Great hot tub and comfy couch - just take your time going down the spiral stairs. The owner was always helpful and quick to respond with any questions. Great place

Private and great location

  • 3 of 5

We stayed here for two days. The house had plenty of space for eating, lounging, and sleeping. It had all of the things we needed. Unfortunately the hot tub was not in working condition, and but we enjoyed the Vermont night sky anyway. Owner was very responsive and helpful before and during our stay.

Owner's Response: The hot tub is not operational in the summer& early fall unless arranged for. Not sure why you were not aware of this as it is clearly outlined in the rental agreement.
