ARTISAN LOFTS PARIS
Chris purchased this apartment in 2008
Paris is our preferred city in the world, this district of Paris our favorite place. The Fashion Room area is extremely SAFE, essentially frequented by families who have been living here for years and who love their area, that is why you will find here a real village atmosphere.
-Very good location : 15/20 minutes away from the the Eiffel Tower, Champs de mars, Seine River, Rue du commerce, ...
-Very good neighborhood : excellent local shops (bakery, butcher, cheese shop, supermarket, ...)
-Very nice building constructed in 1906 by the famous French architect Vincent & Freres, in good conditions, quite -Former wokshop transformed in a studio, fully equipped and furnished (appliances : induction, refrigerator, Nespresso machine, washing machine, ...) -Furniture from famous designers : Italian Bathroom from BOFFI and kitchen in Corian.
The property was right outside the touristy area where the locals live. The apartment was perfect for 2 people and it was very clean and bright. The bed was very comfy. The neighbourhood has plenty of restaurants. Chris recommended a few local restaurants and bakeries and they were great. Food were very reasonable as this was outside the touristy area. We would definitely stay here again when we come back to Paris.
This apartment was very quaint and the bed was very comfortable. The apartment was small by comparison to others we have stayed in but we only spent the evenings inside and did not mind this at all. The apartment was well equipped inside and did not find any problems with outside noise. When we arrived it was very hot and the addition of an air conditioning unit would have been well received.
The location is on a quiet street in a very nice neighbourhood with amazing bakeries and restaurants. Despite the fact that we were away during the daytime for the week we were in Paris we returned to our neighbourhood to have dinner in the late evening.
There are many attractions which are close by and we would walk to but the Metro is very close and also very easy to navigate anywhere in the city in very little time.
The owner had made suggestions for restaurants and we tried most of them and were not disappointed.
I would definitely recommend this apartment for anyone considering staying in Paris and wishing to explore the city and see its amazing attractions and sights. Thank you Christophe!
We had a great time staying in this little loft. Chris was a great help in meeting and and providing support where needed. Very convenient location and we were able to see what we wanted and walk to many of the places we wanted to see. Good suggestions and we had a amazing meal with the suggested souffle just down the street. We would recommend this place to anybody who wants to spend most of their time out and about.
Apartment is as described, close to most sites, excellent recommendations/service by owner, restaurants in the neighborhood are excellent, bakery's are yummy, and be ready to make memories and have fun!!!!!!!
Christophe was wonderful to work with and communicated quickly to attend to everything related to the management of our vacation stay. The apartment is nicely decorated, kitchen and bathroom are well designed. The bed was very comfortable. All perfect with the exception of the level of noise related to this apartment.
This unit is about 4 feet from a heavy iron door that is used by all the other tenants and is on the ground floor adjacent to the garbage drop. When garbage is dropped in the enclosed bin behind the apartment, it is quite loud. Also there are iron pipes above and around the bed that drain from the four or more levels of tenants above this apartment, each shower and flush is heard. I've never used earplugs before, but had to drag out my airplane issued set to get some sleep.
Again I would like to say the owner is very attentive and responsive to your needs, but unfortunately he has no control over the level of noise related to living in this apartment. If you live in a small space in an urban environment, none of this may bother you at all.
My husband and I just returned from 9 days at this studio. Many sites were within walking distance and the metro was literally a block away. Christophe met us there and took us on a great tour of the neighborhood. His restaurant recommendations were wonderful, and it was great having the kitchen for a quick breakfast and the one night we wanted to stay in with some wine, bread and delicious cheese! The weather was chilly while we were there, but the heater kept the flat cozy. I definitely recommend this for your Paris stay!
