About Scott Armour

We love the mountains and have made great family memories in the Brian Head area for more than thirty years. We love this cabin and enjoy annual family vacations and reunions within its warmth and comfort. Brian Head offers so much to do in both Summer and Winter, the cabin has served as a great base for skiing, snow boarding, snowmobiles, ATVs and day trips to Zion, Bryce and other National Parks and monuments. We cannot be at the cabin every week and love sharing this great experience with others. We live in and love the Southern Utah area and use our experience and proximity to assist our guests and assure they have a great experience.

Scott Armour purchased this cabin in 2008

Why Scott Armour chose Brian Head

We looked at over thirty cabins in the Brian Head area, and stayed in several before finally deciding to buy this one. While there are many nice cabins here, our cabin offers a unique mix of access, amenities and privacy that no other cabin could match.

Our cabin is located in the resort and right on Chair 4. That means plowed streets right up to the garage and ski-in/ski-out access. After one or two experiences getting snowed in at a more remote cabin we quickly decided that paved roads and plowing were a must. Also, with many kids, the convenience of ski-in/ski-out access cannot be overstated. If the kids get cold they just ski back to the cabin and warm up. No need to gather the whole family, load the car with ski gear etc. Once you have the convenience of ski-in/ski-out, you cannot give it up.

What makes this cabin unique

In addition to the great access, this cabin has full city services (water, phone, electric, cable etc.). No worries about running out of water or heat at the wrong time.

It also has a practical and effective layout. The cabin can easily sleep 15 people and can hold as many as 20. Even when full there is a sense of roominess and comfort.

Finally, there is a great sense of quiet and privacy. the cabin is alone on a cul-de-sac and offers great access while also being quiet and shielded from the ski-run and lift by trees.

One of our best trips ever!

  • 5 of 5

We had such a wonderful time in Brian Head! We had fresh snow and beautiful weather for our end of March ski trip. Scott's house was wonderful and had everything we needed. It was cozy and we all had plenty of room to spread out and relax. The table was big enough to gather around for eating and games. The downstairs area for the kids was great. The access to skiing was but a 2 minute drive, or you could just ski out of the cul de sac onto Chair 4. If you have teenagers, just be aware that the house only comes with a certain amount of wi fi usage, and then you are charged after a certain point. However,Scott would text every now and again, to let us know where we were on that usage, so as to not be blindsighted on any charges (which he didn't really need to do)! He was super available over the phone, and I feel went above and beyond in communicating with us right away when we needed anything. It was a great house with a owner that cared about our time spent in his home. Thanks so much, Scott. Brian Head is the perfect ski vacation for families. It's not only beautiful, but also much more affordable than our ski resorts in California. Just make sure that you bring up food, as there is a pizza place and one general store. We knew ahead of time, so all was great! I highyl recommend Brian Head and this cabin!

Perfect Ski in/Ski Out Location and Accommodations

  • 5 of 5

This was our 2nd year staying in this beautiful and comfortable home. We are three families with a total of 6 adults and 6 kids and there is plenty of space for us to spread out. The convenience of the true ski in/ski out location allows the kids (teens) to come and go at their own pace which is awesome when not everyone is hungry or wants to leave the slopes at the same time. Kitchen with island and granite counter tops has everything needed. Plenty of clean and spacious bathrooms. Beautiful views from the large living room windows. Streets and driveway plowed and clear. Skis store easily in garage. Just wake up, put on your skis and you're down at chair 4 in 2 minutes. Scott and his wife could not be more attentive and accommodating. We highly recommend this home for your Brian Head vacation. After staying here, you will feel spoiled and it will be difficult to stay at the lodge or anywhere that is not a ski in/ski out location!

This was an amazing house with ski in/ski out!

  • 5 of 5

We had a blast at this very clean and new house which is the only one on the street. It was our first time staying at a ski in/ski out rental and we LOVED it! You felt no rush to get to the ski mountain in the morning and just headed out at your own pace. No lugging skis, boots, poles. It also has ping pong table, basketball shooter game, and many other amenities. Lots of little hills nearby for making sled trails. Scott was very helpful to any needs we had while we were there. We will be back for sure.

Best house we have stayed in!

  • 5 of 5

Great house right next to chair 4 on the Navajo side. A true ski in and out, with all the comforts of home. We had several feet of snow the day after we arrived and the driveway and roads were cleared multiple times a day. The owner, Scott, is easy to work with and very accomodating. We can't wait to come back again. This will be the house we book from now on.
