Townhome, 5 Bedrooms, 4 Baths, (Sleeps 13-15), Closest access to beginner trails
Hi! We are Mike and Mel. We have owned the Sweet Spot since 2005. We live in Winston-Salem, NC and have two young girls. We both love to ski and enjoy the majesty of the Cheat Mountains with great hiking and biking. We want to pass on this love to our girls so we are teaching them how to ski too. I grew up in NYC and now work for a bank. Mike is from Florida and owns a consulting business for project management. Mike's a Seminole converted to a Gator and I'm a UVA grad so you can be sure we have a great HD TV to watch the March Madness or other sports and cheer for our teams.
Melissa purchased this Townhome in 2005
Why Melissa chose Snowshoe
We fell in love with Snowshoe the first time we visited - great slopes, great snow, and we can drive to our home and pack EVERYTHING we need in the car! When Loggers Run was built we knew this was just the type of home we would like to stay when we visited Snowshoe. We loved it so much we bought one and it has been the best place for our family and our guests. We loved that it was upscale and truely on the slopes and that you can have several families come together. We see skiing as a group sport so having your friends and family together is all part of the ski vacation experience.
What makes this Townhome unique
The Best part of our home is that it is private, but also slopeside. And the hot tub is awesome! I don't think there is another place on the mountain that you can sit in the hot tub and watch the skiers and snowmobilers go by. You can also walk to the village or the top of South Mounain with additional restaunts and shops. We are located in the middle of everthing, but still on a green friendly slope.

Sweet Spot at Snowshoe
House was just as described. Very clean and close to the village. It has everything you need and feels like home. I have rented this same house twice now and would not hesitate to do so again. The owner could not have been more helpful or understanding of our needs. She was very prompt on returning emails and answering questions. Very pleasurable experience.
A great home base to explore Snowshoe!
We were very pleased with the property!
Great condo location for skiing. I don’t recommend Snowshoe for a summer location
Property owners were very responsive to some initial issues. They had the air conditioning fixed in one day and had firewood delivered as well. This condo would be great for skiing. You could ski in and out plus it is located close to the village. However, don’t go to Snowshoe in the summer unless you’re a hardcore downhill biker. They charge for a family fun day pass which allows the use of the pool and lake. During our stay, they closed both early every day. The pool was closed at 4:00 instead of 8:00 due to technical issues one day and because they ran out of chlorine the otter days. The true story is they closed because they didn’t have the staff to stay open. Very unethical to take people’s money and then close early.
As an homeowner in Snowshoe, I have no authority over the resort's practices. It is unfortunate that you gave us a 3 star rating as your complaints have nothing to do with my actual property. WE were very responsive to your requests. You should take your issues up with Snowshoe.
This is an absolute perfect property with great owners. The property is immaculate and amazing.
This property is everything people could ask for and I highly suggest when looking for a place to consider as it is one of the best olives on the mountain with great owners also!
great Snowshoe location
Nice property and great location in Loggers Run. Ski in and ski out convenience at Snowshoe doesn't get much better! Hot tub on deck is a nice bonus after a long day skiing or boarding!
My family and I had a great time. The accommodations were very nice and location was great
